If there is a god of motorsports and driving enthusiasts above, please, oh please, grant C.J. a Porsche dealership ASAP!

And C.J., please put me on the list for the first RS allocation at your new dealership when it opens, whatever version it is when that happens. It is the only car I would give up my GT3 for, and I do not have the kind of FU money to pay over MSRP for it, but I will be loyal as hell to your store!

Thx,

With the Dundon Headers, I'd hazard to say you're up at least 40WHP. The suspension set up (you could go full tractive DSC for 8k or so) and better tires (19" hoosiers or stock sized trofeoR) would be worth the 1.5-2sec gap
Fixed!

It's got 1400 miles so even if it is asking $72.5K over MSRP, that is still considered high "asking."

Car does have clear bra and GMG rear center so price is actually below $70k+ over and that's the BUY IT NOW PRICE. I'm sure if someone stepped up with $275k-$280k the car would be theirs.

Food for thought.
Since 95% of these are at dealers I was curious what one could gain by buying from a private person to be registered in TX. Using the Standard Presumptive Value, it would be ~$9k in taxes on the one in AZ.

many dealers are into ONE shot suckers. witness my signature.
they will have to get 20+ suckers to cover the profit lost on me.
but then again in the greater Bay Area a lot of young bucks with no kids wife and a broken HP12c.... can't figure out how to count money... watch them trying to figure out how to amortize a given loan amount, sweating bullets.. so plenty of suckers.. some even pay me $5800 per momth for a 700sf studio.... I rest my case, I'm I creek f that rent to 9000. maybe then he will have no money left for RS premium hahaha.... back to my meds.

Yes, yes, but it's just an ASKING price, I'm sure they would be open to negotiating a reasonable deal.
I love how they say on the Seller's Notes that they can get it to you FAST and EASY SHIPPING. What a joke.

I get the benefit of not paying sales tax if I buy a private party car...saves me 8% and makes playing over MSPR a bit more tolerable.

It's not that you don't pay the tax completely. If its from a dealer they use the dealer's stated price for tax, 6.25% in TX. A private party sale in TX, if you fill in the form correctly, will use the SPV which is already calculated for the clerk. I entered the VIN/miles from that one in AZ and the state spits out a SPV of $140,900.
Actually I was wrong in the previous post, they use 80% of SPV even if you paid $100 for it. So well over 10K saved in p2p. I know some sneeze at that much and I should start a nose wiping company
I assume you're in Cali? Is there no sales tax for a p2p sale?

My primary residency is in the great state on Nevada, even though I do have a home in the People's Republic of CA. I register most of my cars in NV as NV doesn't charge you sales tax on private party car purchases (CA does based upon the sales price).

My last few toys that I have sold went to folks from NV. I put the item on sale at MSRP and they still buy it to avoid taxes. Last sale was a 15 BMW R1200GS Adv which I sold @ MSRP. Before that a Truck. Love the NV folks. They dont even ask for discount. Very down to earth people.

Yup, and some of us don't mind paying over MSRP for cars that they like (I did with the GT4 and will probably do so with the .1RS).

If I liked Lava and didn't mind PCCB and front lift, I'd probably be thinking about pulling the trigger on this car.

But, but, but...LWB's

I kid.
Why is the front lift a turn off for you? Weight? Unnecessary complexity?
