I agree the Ford gt will be the new toy to have next year. Not so for the gt350R. It is already the hot topic of the month so it will fade gradually IMO.

Hello C.J., I love your collection of toys. Great track toys you have there! For track purposes, you would agree the lesser amenities the better of the car is. Coloring the interior such as vents and or console is not really for me. The natural factory finish of carbon fiber as it is, is great. As we all know it, coloring any carbon fiber material adds weight on the car.

If it's the PCCB, aren't they left better for cars that won't be tracked often anyway? Or are the new PCCB's that much better than the old ones and people spec'ing them for their cars that will be tracked generously? If it's the colored console, that's an easy and relatively inexpensive fix. If it's the 60K over, well then I definitely commend you for not buying into the over msrp hoopla and letting it sit on the dealer's floor longer.
Hello ScottKelly, I love the PCCB. Yes it is more costly but there are advantages a PCCB has compared to steel ones. Unsprung weight is the more prominent one. There is a lot less likelihood of brake fade for repeated use. Being a "clean freak", there is hardly any brake dust.

On the colored console, to me it is a matter of taste and personally prefer the carbon fiber finish. Yes you can put a wrap on it but that cost time and money. I asked the "flipper" if they can get it replaced with the original carbon fiber finish or lower the price and they won't budge.

With regard to the $60K premium, I asked if they will flip the car for me for $20K over sticker and said "No Dice." With these GT3RS, I think we will always pay premium over MSRP until the next iteration gets released. It is just a case of "wheeling and Dealing" the agreeable price to pay. After all, you have to be happy for the money you are paying isn't it?

Drive safe,

Martin, I can't wait until I see you in an RS for somewhere close to msrp. Keep hunting your prey.

Me too. I'm spending too much time on RL and it will go down significantly post purchase- RS- By martin. Of course if you rearrange that sequence it becomes MSRP. Martin are you simply trolling us all? Haha

There is a white RS at Porsche Prestige in Montreal. $355 CND would be around $250 USD. Fairly basic car with CND msrp around $211 but cheaper than most US cars I seen.

Dealers are simply practicing first degree price discrimination. Interest rates are low, so the cost to sit on inventory is low. The prices will slowly drop, just enough each time to move a unit, until they're all sold. Kinda like a game of musical chairs.

Yup, it'll be a slow bleed down for the prices. There's several sellers who have dropped their prices to $300k or just under, including a few dealerships. I'm thankful I have enough nice cars to keep me occupied till the prices come down to my comfort zone.

Hahaha I am like a snake in the grass waiting to strike. Good thing I have some sort of patience. I'm not going through this with the .2 GT cars as I have my deposits in.

Now 16 of them for sale in CH ranging between 50k and 100k over list. Looks like almost everyone that takes delivery is putting it on the market. They're not selling at the moment which may be due to the time of year but my feeling is that if you really needed to sell you wouldn't get much over list if any.

Was at the dealer today to pick up my car. They recently received two cars, one white and one lava orange. Both sold quickly (days) for $100K and $110K over, respectively. Just reporting facts, no need for the obligatory "stealership" and "major fail" comments (unless you just can't help yourself).

I counted almost 70 GT3RS's listed for sale with asking prices between $200K over list to $75K over list. They are all sitting. Let them sit. These guys aren't getting it.

My sources have told me Porsche will be making more. I'd love to see these guys get major hair cuts. They deserve it.

Interesting that the GT3 RS at my dealer had a sign "sold". While I was making the deal on it. I don't think they're going for 100 more for real. Not stealership but it's speculation. If there is a buyer they sell it. I almost made the deal if it wasn't for the wife factor. " NO RAGRETS"
