Love those signs! There is a popular exhaust manufacturer here who also makes some garage logo signs including Porsche, Ferrari, Lambo, Audi, etc. He wasn’t offering Porsche signs when I talked to him last because he said Porsche was the most protective of their logo’s and trademarks. Way more so than the others.

I see we have similar taste in bikes. Enjoy your beautiful garage!

If you call that OCD you have never seen anyone with OCD. My OCD is kicking in just looking at that.

Haha. It’s actually a disaster in that photo but everything has a home and no wasted floor space

@AgateGreyGT3 What are the dimensions of the crest in your pool table room? Just curious...might look into trying to make one...

It's approx. 33" wide x 43" tall. If you're going to use a laser CNC machine, I can send you the vector files.

If I'm not mistaken, Larry Chen did a tour of @Carlos993 's collection and garage for Hagerty. Hope they release the video soon

Not a real Porsche garage -- no oil stains on the floor

This is my favorite thread on Rennlist. Here is the progression of my very humble garage (compared to all the amazing garages on here). I am at the age where we decided to downsize significantly last year and prepare for an early retirement, so sacrifices had to be made. New (old) house is a smaller 1 story on a bigger lot, but small 2 car garage. Here is what I have done to my 20x20 space.

First - we had the popcorn ceiling scraped, and the walls/paneling/ceiling and doors all painted Alabaster, with an Iron Ore trim line. Next, I did a cheap and easy fall project of installing checkerboard stick-on tiles.

Next - my wife’s huge SUV and her parking style was moving these cheap tiles, so I taped down a parking pad for her to park on and stop shifting the tiles.

Got lots of compliments from neighbors, but in truth it was what I would call a 10 footer. Looked great from the driveway, but up close you could start to see issues with these cheap tiles moving and chipping. So - time to pull it all up and go with epoxy in Tuxedo finish.

Much better. Now, we have 4 cars and a 2 car garage, so what to do next?

Reconfigure the garage door tracks up to the 11’ ceiling, install a side mount Liftmaster, and get back some space from the old door opener.

Last step - install a 4 post lift to give me more storage space.

I know this is a modest garage but I’m happy with it, especially considering the space and budget limitations. I considered adding a second freestanding garage as we probably have the space for it, but wasn’t in the mood to spend $100k after downsizing. 😜 Old vintage wood shelves are staying for now as they have a cool weathered patina on them and I need some storage anyway. Next step is maybe the octagon-style lights on the ceiling but I’m in no rush.

Looks great! Basically your plan is the same as mine, but I'm not going to do epoxy floor since I'm a cheap b$%@#d.
