I think the GT3 Touring is my absolute favorite - love how clean and crisp it looks.

Glad you asked (sorry I missed the question for so long): You can not see them the previous photos because there are plug outlets on the floor under the cars. With 928's you can carefully drop the wire straight out the bottom of the engine compartment and plug them in without all the trip wire running all around the place... It is a bit of a PITA to route and un-route them... Worth it because you never trip on a wire and risk damaging anything.

I put arrows on this photo where two of the many floor plugs are visible. Its all in the details my friend

I also have misc wall plugs and ran extra wiring that is hidden pending final lighting and sign placements. Here is an example of a sign that I installed recently that is properly switched.

If you look closely, there are plugs on the wall for other neon signs.

Does anyone know of a single row, ceiling mount tire rack solution? I'd like to mount racks on the far wall in my lower level barn section - I have 5 extra sets, one of which is 5 wheels/tires so I need to accommodate 21 mounted wheels/tires which I', guessing is 5-6 typical size racks. I have one from Tirerack and it is great but as with all the other mountable ones I am seeing on the internet, it mounts to the wall rather than the ceiling. Since I have very uneven stone walls, I'd rather attach it to the sturdy ceiling cross beams and drop down vs. having to mount a bunch of 2x4s to my stone wall and mount racks on that which I don't think will look as nice. Anyone have any ideas? I suppose I could make something custom but I don't have access to a fab/metal shop so that wouldn't be trivial.

Picture of lower level with a red rectangle where I am thinking of adding the rack space.

And picture of what I have already that I'd want the same general concept but ceiling instead of wall mounted:

I would think some sort of custom bracket that you could mount the rack shown to the ceiling would be a good solution.

Without looking to see if anything exists, the problem with a true ceiling mount is it would be hard for a standardized product to accommodate different ceiling heights and tire widths.

please don’t ruin that beautiful garage with some hanging tires. It will really take away from the space who wants to make my $500,000 garage look like tire rack…..stick them in a shed or build a proper space you don’t have to look at.

Alright, alright, I'll try keeping them in the storage shed for now - but the issue is that is quite a long way to carry wheels/tires. I guess I can move them in the golf cart which has a mini bed on the back but I may only be able to get 1-2 wheels/tires on it at a time.

What about storing them down low? Then put a counter top over them and have them in front of the cars. It'll look more like a workshop.

Love these 1%er problems! Agree @RudyP that the stonework pairs very well with your collection. It's also a killer location IMHO for some Porsche p0rn, if you're into that.

+1 on that
The space is beautiful. Do not turn it into mechanics shop. Nothing wrong with a mechanic shop just not in this garage.

I hear you all but that is going to be the working level of the garage - all the cabinets and tools are going there as well as 20 8ft 12,000 lumen light fixtures from Obsessed Garage. The upper level will have the warmer, more loungy vibe - this is an old picture all the posts and stuff have been removed and lifts are being installed so I can get 5 cars + pool table, lounge, full bar and kitchen in a more rustic setting than the lower level.
