Need a new espresso machine for my garage. Rocket R9one or La Marzocco GS3? Torn between the two.
Curious what you went with? I have a line on a nice used GS3 MP, but seems a bit more complicated than optimal for me.
Might go with La Marzocco Linea Mini instead - bit smaller and looks a bit simpler.
My Bendpak 2-post and 4-post lifts arrived yesterday. Ordered Monday, and in my driveway ~48 hours later. No supply chain issues there! Pouring concrete next week. Lifts should be operational by Halloween. Photos soon.
Well the @sonictoolsusa representative for my state called and wanted to know how I was enjoying my sample set.
I have his cell and he said to call anytime time if I have a problem, need, complaints or praise.
pretty nice service from a tool company with USA made tools.
* I have no affiliation with sonic tools, just impressed with the tools and company so far.
Been debating 2-post vs 4-post for a couple years now, and finally about to pull the trigger on 2-post. Storage is the more frequent use, but wrenching the more important use. Need to drop 996TT motor and gearbox this fall, for welding coolant lines and sending gearbox to CMS, so it's finally time. Over/under vehicles include the 996TT, GT3, and F-350 crew cab short bed. Too many toys and not enough storage capacity!
I don't normally hang out in this forum but I suggest you get the 4 post lift with a rolling jack. Best of both worlds. You don't want to store your car on a 2 post lift with the suspension dangling like that.
Here is a pic of my garage and also some pics of a a Turbo S being taken apart a couple of days ago on my lift (I helped a buddy of mine do a lot work on it).

Bendpak said the gap between the treads of the 4 post lift wasn't wide enough to drop a 911 engine and tranny. So I bought both: 4 post and 2 post. Arrived less than 2 days after ordering. Pouring concrete tomorrow. Lifts should be operational by Halloween.
Recently wrapped up a garage build. I enjoyed this thread and wanted to share back into it.
It includes a car port added as a ‘wash bay’ area. No news flash here but, what a difference it is having a place to wash the cars out of direct sunlight. Much more of a relaxing pace, not fretting over water spotting.
Back story my wife and I both lost long term spouses to cancer. We joyfully married one year ago. I sold my big lake house and moved to her country house on 10 acres of land. The house is a well designed one story farmhouse style
with an attached 2 car garage. I own 3 Porsche’s, so building an addition was planned immediately. Finally wrote the last check and ready to enjoy it all.
We converted one of the attached garage bays into a mud room with large finished closet, added a porch, breezways, and a driveway gate with fencing.
Used Premier garage to epoxy finish both garage floors and put in built-in cabinets. HVAC in new garage, landscaped and my wife picked several old reclaimed items to dress it up. Cooler door made in 1916 from a florist shop as man door, old car wheel light fixture, old shutters for water heater cover doors, and some other touches. Really pleased with the outcome.
A few before pics to start as we merged our stuff...

Well done ...thanks for sharing.
I love having a wash bay as well and being able to wash a car pretty much any time of the day, or even at night with lights. My only challenge was the afternoon sun, so I added an electronic sun screen ...works great.

This is one of the coolest setups I have ever seen.
