Here is a glimpse of my work-in-progress garage. We still need to build out the shop and lounge area, unpack and store boxes, finish lighting fixtures, finish the sound-absorbing ceiling, etc.
My favorite part is having a warm-water, winter car washing station. : )
It will not be totally finished, but we should have our temporary CO on the 14th of May and be moved in by the 31st. I received a total hip yesterday so that complicates my participation in the move. A bunch of the workers also got Covid so I'm not going to the site for another week as they are all over it, but possibly contagious. They mostly worked through but I managed to not get it. Whew!
The surgeon used a direct superior approach for my hip and that will help my recovery as it is muscle, ligament and tendon sparing approach. I was walking full weight bearing 12 hours after surgery and the entire process was 15 hours door to door. Stryker stepped up big time!

Not sure I mentioned this amongst all of the things going on; The kiln where we were having the Black Walnut dried for the stair treads and railings caught fire and the fantastic wood that was being prepped is now ashes... **** Happens!
