Just to be clear, the above is NOT what Handdoc or I am talking about. RaceDeck Free Flow is an identical product to SwissTrax, with gaps. It does not click or bulge at all, unless I imagine if you have a ridiculously unlevel slab.
I agree that the above tiles suck. I had them prior to Free Flow and did not care for them at all.
Would you please tell us dimensions of above garage and brand of the hanging lights?
I had Armorpoxy for about 6 months until it started to yellow in spots and even started to peel. Super disappointed in a "commercial" grade product. I actually had better results with the crap from Lowe's. Either way, I always wanted to do Racedeck tiles so I went with the vented tile and I'm very happy with how it looks. Super easy to install, I need to cut a few of the tiles and install the edges for the entrance which is why it looks incomplete, but I'm happy with it so far.

Thanks. Yeah I mean it's clear there's a debate RD vs Swisstrax and I don't have Swisstrax so I can't speak to it, but RD was really easy to work with. I guess time will tell though. All I know is there was a large price difference between the two and from most places I've read, it's very very similar.

I have used racedeck in the past and my recent install was with swisstrax. Both are very good choices and have some slight differences. Swisstrax tiles are 1" bigger so depending on your garage size, either size may be better if you can fit the tiles in without cutting. I would think since racedeck is somewhat standard 12" size, you may have a better chance fitting it with less cuts. The other major difference is the thickness of the tiles, swiss trax is thicker so the tiles feel beefier but not sure there is that much of a real world benefit for most applications.

I have had both as mentioned before. There is a difference. Just mentioned by the other post. Swisstrax is thicker and this is huge. This is what allows you to install right up next to the wall without leaving an ugly gap as RD will expand with temp and they expand a lot. They even tell you you have to leave a gap in their instructions. Unless you leave a really large gap AND re-center your floor every so often it will buckle as the floor moves when driving cars in and out so if it gets pushed up against the wall and does not have the gap it will buckle again.
I did my last garage about 1 year ago. Call them directly. Don't be a weiner and you will get a great price. They gave me a price per sqft that was only $.05 higher than RD = $60 more and WAY worth it.

This is just not true at all. I've done RD in three garages, wall to wall. The Free Flow does not expand and buckle. Their low end solid tiles do and even those only do it in extreme heat. I've done RD FF wall to wall in multiple homes and it never moves or buckles. And the garage temp at my last home would cross 100 degrees sometimes during the summer.
The only differences between Swisstrax and RD FF is that: Swisstrax tiles are larger (~16"), which I didn't really want, as it gave less options for design; they are thicker, which I didn't want because they would have been higher than the door sills in my garage; and the colors/sheen is slightly different (the SwissTrax samples I received had more shine to them than RD). The RD FF is just as durable and slightly more flexible. The other positive for me was that the thinner RD tiles were easier to shopvac, as my vac didn't pick up as well through the thicker SwissTrax.
Handoc, easy way to tell which is right for you is to just get samples of each and see which one you prefer.

i'm only gonna use free flow style regardless of brand, just makes the most sense
and yes Archimedes i will order samples when i'm ready
one advantage i see of RD is i can mix free flow w/ some solid tiles, but from all the comments with potential movement etc, i think the most foolproof solution is keep them all the same style
i will not have the patience for buckling etc...thats why i didn't use them here in my current home...but i cant do the slippery factor again in my main garage...in the display garage i could but not sure i want to
