For projects like this, we usually ask him what his good deal of the day is on Porcelain tile. He usually has something he is trying to sell or something he bought a railcar full that is a good deal. After all, it's a garage, so it doesn't have to be the nicest designer stuff out there.

That floor looks great!
Does the floor get slippery when wet?

Has anyone on here converted a carport into a garage? Looking for someone good in the LA area. Any recommendations for those who've had their garages worked on locally?
Looking to purchase a place but want to make sure the garage will be up to par.

Off topic. Did the format change on here? Everything looks different.

First thing you should do is go to the municipality and make sure it is doable. Then if it is, go with it. It's relatively easy.

Very nice! Looking forward to seeing progress pictures...and what “toys” will be living there.

Right now my little 3 car is a train wreck with all the work we’ve been doing in the race car. Not enough room to keep it clean while working, so it’s a mess...can’t wait to be able to clean it!

Default Update

Interior is painted and first lights went in. Floor is being poured Thursday/Friday and then chair rail and wainscoting goes up and gets painted and rest of lights go in. Exterior staining begins tomorrow. It will look like the color in the peak.

I just stumbled upon this thread, even though I don't have a GT3. We recently down sized our Ohio home. I'm getting old and we spend half our time in FL. This is what we had before, on 4.25 acres. Sorry for all the different size pictures.

This is what we have now, on a 70'X75' lot.

Looks amazing. Can't wait to see it with the floor in.

So what will you be putting in it? I am thinking you can easily fit 12 cars in there.

What you have now is still very nice and room for at least 3 cars!
