And more picts... Hatzenbach

Traffic sign on a race track. As you know Nordschleife is also a pay road so it makes sense in a way. Problem is only that no-one drives slow enough to actually see the signs

Funny enough: The smallest team (friend of mine) where together with maybe the most resourceful team, Manthey/Porsche in the same box.
I guess both teams had equally fun doing the N24H. Size does not matter.

Where my friends had an iPad, Manthey had a small wall of things to take care of the race details + a spot at the pit wall.

Manthey/Porsche was reported to me as being very professional and considerate to my good friends :-) (No, I'm not ironic).

Close to the end of the race the more media and people was in the box.

See you there for 24th and 25th! I might stay for the TF, but doing already the Manthey track day on the 24th and DN on the 25th.

P.S. I assume you use Harry's laptimer on the Ring? Do you use the external GPS module for it or does work alright without?
Thanks!

I use it normally with VBox Sport.

Without external GPS you might miss the start of the lap or the end of the lap.

Going full speed under the bridge might or might not trigger HLT when using phones interna GPS.

Interesting that they are now using AP Racing Calipers (instead of Performance Friction) and Brembo rotors, all fitting inside 18" wheels.

Enjoyed the pictorial. Thanks for taking the time to post. Seems like to many, the race is an opportunity to party and the race itself is secondary.

Btw, who is the heavy set guy that Dr. Walliser speaking with?

I'm not sure but my guess is that he was the team boss for Manthey.
He was very appreciated by Walliser. Big hug party

^^ I can see half a dozen manual E36 4 cylinders on hard tires with shocks and springs parked in Germany to learn the Ring properly.
