Oh yes, forgot, Tim Scheerbarth, VLN driver, Porsche GT3 Cup, drove me in my 997 GT3. He is a little bit faster then me .
Of cource I filmed it - I believed until just now when I realise I turned of the video recording in stead of turning it on.

Soooo annoying. Maybe I can convince me to do another lap tomorrow...

I know Tim for a long time, used to drive at the same time at BF the 2011 season in V5 when he became champion with Manuel Metzger who also instructs at Scuderia.

Both really nice guys. Manuel won N24 2016 for Mercedes. Amazing end to that race.

There is a bunch of really good drivers as instructors: Jens Klingman, Andreas Simonsen, Berndt Schneider... and more,

So now the Scuderia Hanseat Spring Course is done. Driving Wednesday to Friday with final exams on friday afternoon.

Amazing weather!

Day 1 we had a LOT of pollen on the track which made it interesting.

Personally I did really good during the trainings but did not pull it together in the exams so I lost a couple of points compared to last time.

Will post more stuff when I have time.

Now it is Touristdriving Saturday and Sunday. Still sunny!

The weather here in Germany keep surprising me.

Unfortunately it looks like it is going to be a rainy race on Thursday.
The first race of the N24H weekend is my race, RCN2.

Weather is not the worst: Our car broke down today: the camshaft chain broke because a plastic piece got loose. 4 valves was damaged.

We'll decide what to do tonight.

This is a nice time to be in Nürburg. It is somehow sleepy but underneath the surface a lot is going on. The fans has invaded the camping sites, the race teams are preparing and I'm cleaning the gear shifter on the 997 GT3.
