especially in the US where there are point-bys etc. it's actually a very safe sport, you can run at your own level, and there is no feeling like being at the track. my history as has been with motorcycles and racing schools with cars.. and need to get the spyder there also very soon. with your machine you need to make a trip.. you'll never be the same!

no no no.. tracking is different from the ring first of all. go to the ring, rent a lowly 128i bmw and an instructor like I did, and pray that it rains.. most amazing experience.

At first look it almost made me sick, but looking closer: Maybe it is not as bad as it looks...

White car turning around and driving against the traffic.
First it looks like the marshall lifts his hand to a Stop but hen it looks like more of a greeting.
What I'm aware of there is only two occasions when you are allowed to drive Nordschleife backwards and that is during Rally Köln-Ahrweiler and the Scuderia Hanseat course.
So I'm puzzled.
Here's from the Rally:
He enters the Ring after Galgenkopf. (2:34)

I havn't driven in US but with the Porsche Club Sweden we have 4 classes during a Porsche Club Trackday:
Soft and Easy
Unexperienced
Normal
Fast
If the same apply for the US/Canada then it is a no-brainer.
Then when you done some track driving you come to Europe and I'll show you the Ring.
