Nah, I only drive it because of the carpool privileges. Besides, it's a great tire, parts, and BBS wheel hauler.

The thing that really cracks me up about LA since I moved here two months ago, is the very large percentages of Prius owners who drive like maniacs. If they were concerned about the environment and other people in the world, they wouldn't be driving their Priuses at 95 mph, weaving in and out of traffic.
The biggest surprise is even the ones that seem to drive normally (7mph over the limit) will speed up and act all pissed off if I pass them, like I've wounded the pride of a guy driving a f#$@#king Prius. He should expect to get passed by any sportcar, particularly a GT3.

There is no one more phony than LA prius drivers.

(obviously Martin is excluded from those statements)

No interest in limited edition car that's not a track car.

Re-ordered a GT4 again today. Waiting to hear delivery time and ED options. Summer would be good...

On the same page.
Also have some calls in for 350R, 350 seems possible to get, but I'll wait for the R.

Outside of this forum I wonder how much unsatisfied demand there really is.

I have zero desire for a 991R.
+1.

Its a POS. Get something else that allows you to run 55 in the left lane.

No thanks, 25% more to have no down force..
Me thinks a GT4 with a 4.0 is more fun.

The information is all over the map regarding the 'R'. One article says that it's a 444hp detuned GT3 engine, etc. Then my SA says that pricing should be about $135k base, nicely optioned about 150-160k.

Fast forward to the latest info above, priced higher than an RS, more HP?

Bottom line, Geneva can't come fast enough.

Interesting jo_ker. Do you have documentation that this is the pricing in Europe? Can you please post/share?

Hard to believe it will cost more than current GT3RS?

Drive safe,

So ~$215k here. Assuming that is accurate, if it has a monster motor and a lot of lightweight parts included in that price (PCCBs, Mg roof, CF panels, buckets, Li-ion battery), I could justify it. But if it has power somewhere south of the RS and the goodies are all extra, that is a big premium to pay for a stick...

Remember, low supply and high demand makes prices shoot up. The word is that there will be no more than 911units of the R, hence prices are up. In this case though seems like PAG wants a larger share of the profits.

it have to cost more than the GT3RS - it has a badge with a running number.

it is MT

has the same (4.0) engine

some lightweight stuff
i guess at the end 150kg less the RS. 30kg will be the "LACK" of PDK - another maybe 30kg the missing cage and rear wing - so maybe "only" 90kg needed to get out of doorpanels, glas, electric,... rear wheel steering will be in? this i don´t know...

for me its more a surprise it do not cost more than 230k€.
because you have to charge that much that all 600pcs (or 911pcs) except 10pcs will be sold straight away. and for this i would guess the price would have to be within today around 300k€.

Got it. Thanks for the input jo_ker and Just in time.

Does anyone here in this forum been surveyed (918 owners) if you are "interested" in acquiring this 911R? I heard a "Survey" has been sent out to the 918 owners first?

Drive safe,
GT3RS-Fan1

Probably been contacted a while ago. ROW potential buyer was asked in July/August. I passed this time. 😉 Need boy racer wing on my cars.
