Have any of you guys considered getting a car that is more track suited, such as a radical? Much more cost effective, and the amount of grip they offer with the aero is fantastic. I am moving quickly away from ever wanting to drive a road car on track again.

There was a good thread recently talking about the things to consider before getting into one.

That would be this thread: https://rennlist.com/forums/991-gt3-...a-radical.html
Better to take that sportsracer type discussion over there, I think. Leave this thread to Trakcar's ED adventures.

Prior mention of GoPro etc - try THIS:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Smallest-DV-...8AAOSwZd1VZULo

$13, delivered. Goofy looking, but the guts are well made. Amazingly great quality and so small and CHEEP - put it anywhere. I was amazed. Slapped in a 64GB card and take 15 minutes of video. Came from China, took just a week.

Weather not ideal looking, but OK mostly dry.
Another week at Sebring coming up!

It's going to be weird to jump from RS to 1983SC racecar.

Wired alright. Did this a few weekends ago after 18 months. First corner turned the wheel of the 993 and wondered if it was actually connected to the wheels. Forgot how little under steer and how sharpe the turn in of the new car was. Changing gears again was a shock. But it all comes back after a session :-)

Peter please let me know more about GT4 setup.

My one will be ready end of this week and than follow:
-10mm overall (front maybe a bit more), crossweigh, shims, aero, roll bars,...

i will do:
front camber maximum incl. shims (i guess it will be limited with the track rod thread) at around -2,3° (GT4-Clubsport track rods should help?)
rear camber around -1,7°
no idea about toe and caster at the moment
roll bar front: soft
roll bar front: medium
rear wing: maximum downforce
take out the small front diffuser parts

mine will be driven on different slalom and hillclimb competitions on Michelin Cup2 tires.

If you get enough cars on the track and drive around fast enough maybe you'll chase the fog out of there.

Its cleared up but its like a hot swamp as August Day...
No fast Laps to moist. Will try again later.

Had some Fun Laps in Heineken.
Wow what an adjustment. Like driving a tractor, doesn't brake and doesn't go lol.
Hard to relearn to stay away from the brakes and use throttle as an on and off button

I still know how to use 3 pedals ;-)
