Did a nice trip today from Andermatt to Lago Maggiore, via the Furka Pass and Simplon Pass Back, had some pasta and headed back via the Gotthard tunnel.
We ended up with much better weather than expected and the passes were only open since a week ago! Very nice scenery. Super lucky with almost no traffic anywhere. The entire area looked desolated at times.
Probably all rain tomorrow when we take the Gotthard Pass south in Lugano. Beats Florida humidity!
The car is pretty nice I have to say. We ran lots of Km's at 130-145 MPH on the Autobahn getting here and it gets to 140Mph quickly and is very stable.
Today not much high speed but lots of one-car wide roads on the passes (Doesn't show in pics, but honking cars around the corner and cars backing up all over the place), it would have been a bit harrowing with the wide and low RS. Never mind the construction sites and speed bumps in the villages, or parking.
The Macan has a nice go anywhere fast quality. It barks nice up the mountain in Sport plus and handles nice with the air suspension in low. Brakes are good enough but Id like a bit more bite.

How did you find the gas consumption?
I have learnt from my Turbo that if you do not want to stop every couple of hundred miles for gas, you need to keep the speed below 95mph because above that, it sucks the juice like there's no tomorrow.

Consumption is fine, I haven't looked at the MPG.
But the tank is way too small.
Blasting down the autobahn and up the passes empties the small tank way too fast.
A Q5 leftover I guess.
Love my 24gal MB tanks

Another great day today.
We enjoyed great driving and a nice breakfast, lunch and dinner with some nice gelato
Boy is it time to diet and exercise :-(.
90% rain predicted, but we had mostly sun, very little rain but hard at times.
I took some screen shots of the passes we drove and today we did Lugano and a lap around lake Como. Tight roads again and around all the little cars here you notice how wide the Macan is.
Also used the top view camera a few times to wiggle into parking spaces barely 24" more than the car is long.. Great option here in Italian Alps but probably never be used again in Florida. No curb rash, no scratches. Awesome.
Tomorrow one last bull run Lugano - Zuffenhausen. The car sits in the parking garage fueled up and ready to go first thing tomorrow. No tickets yet (Or none received anyway) so must hold back until we get out of Switzerland!
