TRAKCAR,

Great thread, just read in its entirety. One Grand Prix!

I am taking delivery of my RS June 23rd at Zuffenhausen, leaving the 27th. Plan is to do a lapping day at the ring and visit some friends in Munich. Any advice on accommodations for the track? Any hot tips for my short trip?

Thanks,

Doug

Hi Dough,

If you never been to the Ring and want to do Touristdriving (TF) I would suggest going there on a weekday.

Here's the TF in June

Haha, that was your run with me in passenger seat!

This was a good run but lots of wheelspin!
Thanks for co driver and playing camera man for this run Stephen

Mr purple sounds good going down the front straight
Only took 5 runs and the help of the gt3 driver to figure out how to drag race a GT3. I better stick to lapping instead of living life a quarter mile at a time ;-)

RS vs GT3 :-)

Too bad zero clean laps, last lap of session pressures too high but a 2:179 flat with some traffic.

P. Last year we had a pace car out first lap under yellow which translated keeping group together
so for second lap going green, would then have 3-4 laps clean before catching the back of the bus ,
great for reaching to set best , yesterday with that head wing down the back straight held me back
2+ sec it seemed that with traffic made it really tuff . still didn't crack 20 sec barrier
the wind wasn't as brutal as the rain that was good for 25 sec. loss Thursday

D.
