Very impressive. Does the car feel different with the cage/new set up/dunlops?

I dont like the Dunlops. Wear even more and feel greasy, like inshaved tires.

Best lap so far 2:18 flat.

damn! you are cooking!

Question- was that via an HPDE? Or do you belong to a club that gives you access to the track?

I don't see any other cars on the track.

Curious how you are getting most of your track time.

My thoughts are to attend the PCA events my first year. Then decide if I want to join the Drivers Club at NJMP after I see how much seat time I get with PCA.

Thanks,
PT3 (twisty track newbie)

Great thread and videos of European bucket list tracks.

After 10+ years of lurking, here's my first post. I'll introduce myself at Sebring next time I see you. Cheers

Great laps Peter, Those Dunlops will be corded by the time you get home.
Stay dry tomorrow.

Peter - our of curiosity what lap times did the RSA run on the street tires? And congrats on the 2:18 that's moving! Very smooth inputs, you made it look easy.

I really enjoy your thread and video's. You have to be private owner of an RS that has the most track miles. Keep this up and you will be able to sell your car for a fortune back to Porsche for some museum.

Keep posting the video's they are awesome.

They definitely wear faster. Are you running pressures any differently with the dunlops vs the cup2? I ran 2-3psi higher with the dunlops

Per your advice I ran them around 34-36
They build up a lot of heat / PSI and take time to come up, even after we put nitrogen in.

That PSI seemed to work

Hate that tire, heat cycled out after 7-8 HCs with plenty of tread left. Never buying that tire again. Much rather get the Dunlops.
