Can you elaborate in this?

What is the diff between GT3 and the RS?

Regarding fires and limp mode, I wonder if the new packaging and lower engine shroud is creating more heat in the engine bay vs 997? Would be interesting to stick digital thermometers in engine bay of old and new RS to record max temps.

Tire support from Michelin?!? Track days roll high-style in Europe.

Peter, while your straps will hold the car 'down', my gut tells me that they will not stop the car from moving back and forth.

I could be wrong, but just something to think about.

Enjoying the journey along with you.
Cheers

I liked it better when the car was called "trakcar" but the driver was called "Reter" -- where's mooty when you need him?

Catching up with Trakcar after about 2 minutes:

This was lap one of our examination laps. We was supposed to set the same time in both laps but that failed totally when we realized we only need to overtake 8 cars to be first. The first car started about 80 seconds before Trakcar.

I'm sorry for quality but I had so bad vibrations from my wheels when over 170 km/h.
I also believe I have Twix (Chocolate bar) in my iPhones microphone, muffles the sound a bit.

This is lap two in which DrJupeman enters the scene in about 4:30 at Lauda Links:

So now we know why there's a shortage of PSC2s...

This is such a good idea on a number of levels because I'm going to be near or over 5,000 kms when we turn the car in on Sunday. You easily would have eclipsed the 6,000 km limit without towing...

Another ED RS spotted today in Fruedenstadt. Why he wasn't at the track with us the last few days...

Hi Charlie:

Now I am totally stunned. Should have told me that you come to Freudenstadt. Would have taken you to my favorite Italian restaurant.
Enjoy and have fun

Hi Peter:

Good to see that you enjoyed the second day at Spa and improved times!!! Very good and cool. But your car looks better on track than on trailer
Thanks for sharing the experience - was great to drive around Spa together and I was impressed on how the RS showed stability where I could feel the GT3 already moving around. Thanks also for help in wheel change and loading my car on the trailer - you are very good at the winch
I had a "quick" run home in a bit over 5 hours
Take care and enjoy the time and see you soon again at Hockenheim and say hello to wifey as well and sorry that I forgot to congratulate for her birthday

Peter

Ooh, that would have been great! To be honest, we didn't know we were going to Freudenstadt until we were there! We were navigating our way back to 500 for the fun run up to Baden Baden...

Peter
