What max revs are you planning for initial break-in as you hit the tracks?

They used my image from the Ring in August ( I should ask for publishing funds), you just bought a car with the wrong painted wheels

It was great meeting you Peter and 911Fox ! It was such a perfect track day !! But I still need some time behind the wheel of my LO RS to get to your lap time ;-)
And not point of me adding any photos after Dave's perfect shots !
I hope you got safely to the S..H... ! :-)))

Pff, all great tracks for different reasons. Spa for Eau Rouge, Redbull Ring for facilities and easy to go fast, Paul Ricard also awesome facility, safe fun track in great area and now Dijon; a difficult technical and fast track with some unforgiving walls. Dijon I had to work the hardest at. Super difficult. Only negative is that the track is so coarse it destroys a set of tires in a day..

Hey Eric, fantastic meeting you guys also and seeing you out on track. You'll be lapping just as fast in no time, not far off now...

yes, we finally got to the S H,lol... Just as well that Pete can slap together a few words of French or we would have been sleeping in a gutter tonight

Hope you squeeze in a few more days before winter. Cheers

You make it look so easy man. The RS sounds much less urgent than the GT3.

Peter! Indeed I've stolen your HANS, it's already up for sale on Ebay!
No I just noticed it coming home, it was still in my trunk, let me know where I can send it or give it back. PM me your nr. that'll be easier to arrange.

Nice meeting you by the way!

Frank

Haha, it's not. I'll upload a video of 1:28's with Chris (911Rox) aboard coaching me a bit and still trying to get to 1:27 with the extra weight on board, overdriving the car and not succeeding :-)

Thanks, it's proved a great track for the 997 and 911's in general, really enjoyed driving it there. It should be a keeper, I struggle to think of a more rewarding car to drive.

The drive home unfortunately had some gendarmes involved but that's France... I'll get in touch for the HANS!

Great photos guys. I assume thats Grants Carmine GT4. Nice to see Carmine, guards, LO, and Pumpkin orange all in a row to see what the colours really look like. LO looks more of a red hue than an orange hue when you see them all like that (or something in between). 991 GT3RS looks huge compared to 997.1 GT3RS but GT4 looks wider and longer than imagined against 991 GT3 etc. Al very interesting...
