TRAKCAR does ED

Nordschleife Master
Car changes;
-3F
-2.5R camber
Raised the front and rear one turn because I was just bottoming out too much and added some wing in the rear. Not that I was really going fast enough but it wasn't like I was hurting straight line speed. Car feels great with both bars in the middle it pushes a bit on tight corners but the Voodoo LSD just turns the car.

Today Porsche day.
Great track!! I think it will flow nice once i figure it out.
2:52 lap time whatever that means lots of time to find.. Easy track to go slow hard track to go fast :-)
Track lunch Belgium style.

What's the controversy? Isn't it just a personal choice? I like my cars setup more aggressively - my Cayman has camber in the -4s and 2 mm toe out front, 6 mm in rear (similar to what Krisa posted). My rubber (Pirellis) are heat cycled out before they're worn out in about 12 to 15 40 minute sessions.

Just un petit vin, pas de problem.
Finally a track to push the car. O Rouge I'm sure is impressive if you havent been to the Ring but after 5 days of green Hell, its just another coner. No guard rail at the top apex, meh, no biggie.
We had a nice run today, I couldn't even try to keep up with Peterfirst but Dr. Jupeman and I were killing our tires and lap times were degrading pretty evenly :-)
Peterfirst and Dr Jupeman are both faster than me but their puny little wings and tires are no match for the RS, before I toasted the tires the grip in the 2nd gear slow corners is just stupid, dont try this at home in a 997 folks..
I shifted manually all day. I like it. I feel like Kimi. Its awesome. No, its really awesome.
Dynamics are changing now, I could use more power at Spa, I still can't trail brake and do the magic of rotation under braking and turn it seamlessly into the continuing that rotation out of the corner..
Its what makes 3 pedals a challenge.. This car I cant do it yet. Or it doesn't want to do it, not sure.
I need a softer front bar, but with all the new tracks coming at me, I'm keeping a little push in the car. But this car feels like the front tires give up under braking. There seems little need to keep weigh to the nose because it just turns, so adding weight to the front just asks more from the front tires AND when they feel they are giving up, just crank in more and it still turns. LSD and RWS I guess.
Could very well be that I have yet to learn the car and need to mess with the sway bars.
All 4 tires look perfect, the Michelin guys says my pressures are ideal at 32 PSI all around and my camber is perfect. I think the fronts will die first. The car makes it feel like rears don't do much except push the car along.
I whipped the car into heavy over steer in the 2 second gear corners and let the SC catch it. Maybe tomorrow I turn it off because its fun and I lose time there. Not too many scary other corners that need SC help and lots of runoff. The track is fast, fast. Hard on brakes, my pads are done tomorrow, I have new Brake tech Enduro pads waiting for me to be installed Friday. Tires are fine for few more days. We really overheated them today despite the 55F weather. This car on slicks OMG.
Dr. Jupeman was behind me for 4-5 laps, I hope he has video, I was working hard to keep that madman behind me.
Hopefully I have some Youtubes by tomorrow. Harry's laptimer only works half the time.....
So far got down to 2:46's I'm sure that's off race pace by at least 5 seconds but we will see tomorrow..

I totally agree with your first comment. After the Nordschleife, Spa is not at all scary. Eau Rouge, just another corner, you nailed it...
2:43 in the last session for me. I had been running all day with the shocks turned to stiff. I turned them to soft for the last session and, voila, faster. Go figure.
Harry's Lap Timer is awesome when it works... Someday maybe I can upload video, too. Great running today, Peter! Lots of fun!
