Discussion of the GT3R not RS!
Ask your dealers, they might have some more info shortly.
450-475hp MT only. 800 units. No wing and advanced aero.
I'm guessing the last hurray for N/A 911s. I doubt gt3 engine because of cost of making MT fit?
Yep, fixed the typo.

That seems like an early delivery date when dealers still know nothing about the car, nor have we seen even prototypes driving around. Is it that secretive/exclusive?

PAG/PCNA is great. they really seriously need to hire my 6 YO old. he can count definitively to 1000.
S or GT engine.

how many units
nothing is certain ;-)
i heard it's 9 speed manual.... wait was it 8 speed with 9th being overdrive?

Directly from Porsche, does a salesperson work Directly for Porsche? Remember what Pruenger said about "Flappy Paddles"?
Still no one really knows too much but there have to be a few solid truth's that have been told. What those are we don't know yet!

Where did I mention it was a salesperson?

so confusing
thought this was a thread about the new FIA-GT3 race car from porsche, known as the 991R ($500K, car is already having issues related to engine)
then I thought this was about the 991 GT3 RS
But it turns out there is another 991R, street car, which is in between a GT4, a GT3, and a RS
It sounds like a nice car. But WTF PORSCHE ENOUGH

I agree! Enough. All these different models just dilutes the brand imho. Either bump up the engine in the manual gt4 or give us a manual option for the gt3. You already know Porsche will artificially keep this car in between the models it should and will price it accordingly. Its getting a little old. It would be nice if porsche for example would let the mid engine cayman perform on par with the gt3 and price them both about the same. Then one could choose the platform and style they like better and buy that one. Not a huge fan of current hierarchy Porsche has in place right now but it is what it is and ill keep buying them. The way they sell this car is to limit the number of cars so people think it will somehow be a collectable car down the road and feel lucky if they get one.
