Reference Guide to PTS

Miami looks good! I definitely would've stuck with it if I wasn't disapproved because I didn't get in on the ~1 week PTS window
I still think PTS cars, even the "special" 3 PTS colors will demand a premium. Given the extremely short PTS window, PAG must have artificially kept the numbers very low compared to the standard 4 option colors.

I can see your point. Miami is a softer shade which somewhat doesn't fit the aggressive nature of the RS. It might be that duality that helps further characterize the RS and its visual features just as darker colors tend to subdue them.

Future value of PTS .1 991 gt3 RS...my dos centavos!
'special' colors we are referring to, of which 'Miami Blue' is one of them.
'Black', 'Racing Yellow' and 'Miami Blue' are not technically PTS colors at
PAG. They were allowed ONLY to be ordered on the .1 gt3 RS by those
who already had confirmed PTS allocations. It's a zero sum game. You
can wait for your true PTS (e.g. 'Riviera Blue') or you can switch from
your PTS to this 'Special' color to shorten the waiting time. So it's not
like if PAG has added to the numbers of RS that will be allowed to be
done outside the 4 original color offerings! Each .1 RS done in one of
these 3 'Special' colors is being subtracted from total # of PTS .1 RS
being built, by a ratio of one to one! So if anything, there will be less
true 'PTS' .1 991 gt3 RS's than originally planned by PAG on this model!
And by the way, the cost is the same as PTS...but only for .1 991 gt3 RS
customers. 'Miami Blue', for example, will only be a $3140 option as a
'Special Color', not PTS, in the regular MY2017 991 models!

So Consolidated, there will not be that many 'Miami Blue' .1 991 gt3 RSs
simply because very few savvy customers will bother to switch from a
'true' PTS, if they were set on that color, to pick 'Miami' simply to shorten
the delivery time by a few months. Same for 'Black' and 'Racing Yellow',
although I suspect that the novelty of 'Miami Blue' as a 'new' color will
tempt a few RS customers to make a switch. That is why JUPJAI calls
it the non-PTS unicorn...and he is correct in that assessment!
In general, PTS .1 991 gt3 RS will normally command a premium in
the future. And some very special PTS colors will have higher demand
than others. And some PTS colors, considered either unattractive by
the market or not special enough, will NOT command much a premium,
if any at all! We are seeing that right now in the US market with the
PTS 'Arena Red Metallic' '15 991 gt3s, of which 10 were built for the
US by PCNA/PAG. Finally, one particular standard color of the .1 gt3
RS will rival most PTS RS examples in value in the future. That color
is 'Ultraviolet'.

I think Miami is one of the nicest blues I've seen. The slight turquoise makes it more interesting than Mexico / Riviera.

Another one from instagram (https://www.instagram.com/p/-b-d93HT...omainantiochus--the cars at this Sion, CH, dealership are astounding!! check out this guy's other photos). Not sure of colour but looks less green than Miami (more like Mexico), but then again, could be the camera??? Anyone in Switzerland able to confirm?
