Eduardo, I was a little confused by the new info on Mamba since it’s M6S.
I’m not sure it is exactly the same as Bamboo Y76. Perhaps we’ve witnessed
how names and codes may change. Or perhaps there are two different greens
here. Recall the Cayenne advertised as Bamboo and your tester Panny both
appeared darker (to me) than the Turbo, recognizing that photos lie. Maybe
the Turbo is Mamba and the Cayenne/Panamera not. ???
There is, to my knowledge, only one person (a US 918 VIP) that told me that
'mambagruenmetallic' was color code Y76. He took the time to send me a pm
on 3/16/2016, which I posted here at Rennlist (see below). Was he mistaken
about its color code? I do not know. I have never seen the color included in
the approved PTS list so we wouldn't know!

Another person from Germany in Rennlist, Beoliving, reported seeing a .2 991 Targa in 'Bamboo Green Metallic'
for sale at a German dealer earlier this year:
Unfortunately, no one ever responded to my request to get this color verified!
****
So the fact that 'mambagruenmetallic' appears as M6S and not Y76 in your research
is not a matter of concern to me. We never obtained verification of Y76 as its actual
color code in any case!

It's common practice for PAG to paint new colors under consideration on current models
& assigned them to executives, the marketing fleet or Leipzig test track for 'evaluation'.
Some of these colors make it all the way into the color palette, or offerings, on a subsequent
year. Others don't. We will see the 'winners' soon enough!
Remember that at the Leipzig track I posted the first recorded 'sighting' of 'Graphite Blue Metallic'
on a Boxster just before it was introduced the next model year!
Hi Eduardo, just did some research at my inbox as I emailed the sales guy a while ago when you raised the question what the color code of this very nice Targa is. Sales guy did his job and provieded an answer which I ignored....
but here we go, the color was Mambagrünmetallic, color code Y76!

Don't really know how to explain it, but that's what the Glasurit website said, and they're pretty accurate. Guess we'll find out when it's formally announced... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Since my last post asking about whether PTS was worth it haha, I just got approved this week and have to confirm my color by tomorrow. Can you guys help me out with Viola Metallic v Brewster Green please? I was originally set on Brewster, but I fear it will be too subdued. I like the idea of some pop and subtle specialness - more cool and less obnoxious.
I have never seen either in real life, but based on my googling, Brewster often looks underwhelming, but I haven't seen many GT3's with fun builds in Brewster. Viola always looks vivid in pictures, but who knows what filters and stuff they are doing. Whenever I speak to true Porscheheads, they undeniably say Brewster is the way to go.
I understand that this is all subjective, but would love some help or even to know your preference. If it makes any difference, I am a young guy (under 30) and it would be a weekend toy (every few weekends, I travel for work a lot)...
Thanks for any help,
nick
My build would be the same for both colors essentially - key features below:
black headlights
black rims
race seats with stripe delete
leather cabin with yellow cross stitch
PCCBs
yellow belts
CF trim

Just saw a Brewster Targa today, it is a quite dark green compared to BRG or Irish. Not my cup of tee. One of the colors photos easily look very different than the color looks in real life. My photos are a good (bad) example. looked much darker.

thanks for posting these and the help. Brewster is officially out, it has been replaced by BRG (with irish having an outside chance, but i still find it too green). Viola is still very much a contender, just scared of the shiny purple car syndrome/stigma. Don't know if i can get excited about 200k on a dark green car...
