Has anyone tried to get Oslo Blue approved? Closest color I can find to non-metallic Aquamarine, which is not approved. Thanks.

 

I have not seen it added to the feasibility test list at Porsche
for any current 991/981 model . However, it was for sure
approved as a PTS color for the previous 997 model.
Unfortunately, the feasibility for a color has to be done
all over again once you have a new model in production.
So what was approved for the 997 is not automatically
approved for the 991!

In my old 356 circles, we never thought 'Oslo Blue' was that similar
to 'Aquamarine', but everyone is entitled to their opinion! The latter
has a bit more 'grey/verde' tint in the color than 'Oslo Blue'!






But you are the only one that needs to be happy with the color.
So if 'Oslo' floats you boat, that is all that matters!

I agree that Oslo is not that similar to Aquamarine, but I can't find anything closer except maybe Graphite Blue on the new 991.2.

What floats my boat is non-metallic Aquamarine. Sadly like many things Porsche these days, they seem to want to frustrate the maximum number of customers by not offering it.....nor PTS at all for that matter......

 

Nizer, when is your Miami arriving? It's one of the few colors I consider both vintage and modern, perfect for a 911 IMO. I thought those were to deliver quicker.

That's disappointing, really nice color would have been awesome if someone got it for real!
