Like the 18" on 997'S.
19" is fine for heavily tracked cars, those calipers and wheels will look like hell anyways.

As a reference for steel rotors:

1 set of front rotors. Rears like new.
1.5L oil and annoying 200cc at the time..

5 of the 18 track days were at the Ring so minimal braking there, but all the other tracks were brake killers, worse than Sebring and nothing like the easy California tracks..

I'd hate to be looking at my first PCCB rotor replacement.
Refurbishment would be OK at $1000 per corner but not enough real world feed back.

Not sure about other people's experience, but I have scored up the barrels two sets of 20" stock wheels. This happened while running on two different tracks - Sebring and Lime Rock, not on the street. Not much clearance even on the 20" wheels.

Trakcar...does this mean you are currently on second set of front rotors? What did you replace them with? OEM rings or all new hats and rings? And approx. what was the cost for the front set?

I asked my local dealership, and they said ~$8k for the tool.

dealer should not charge for testing PCCB rotors if your changing pads or buying tires. The problem no dealer is investing in tester.
I am waiting for Sicom to get back to me.
