Simular story here-my build includes PCCB, LWB, and PTS (not black). Stopped by the dealer yesterday, pulled up my order and I noticed that my build complete had bumped exactly two weeks, from 10/30 to 11/13, but my delivery date remained 1/1. No word yet on PTS but expected any day. I assume further delays.

One interesting note was another customer with a secured GT4 allocation had to be informed he wouldn't be able to get LWBs--as in at all, regardless of desire to wait. My impression was he was the only one with a GT4 LWB order there as the dealer assumes they are holding on to the seats for the RS.

I'll pretty much be in Germany Oct - Dec with a few days in between to go home until I hit the max allowed 4000 miles.

Has anyone heard any more recent "rumors/updates" on possible next wave of allocations? A few weeks ago the buzz was centered on the mid-May (likely ~19-21 May) timeframe. This timeframe also seems to coincide with the anticipated press/journalist testing window(?). Anything new from the field? TIA!

I've hounded everyone I know, including everyone I know at PCNA and PAG.

(Should've bought 2 918's, to be honest. The VIP program really wrecked things for us loyalists who aren't in the 918 VIP program with PCNA.)

Don't fret Deutschland mid to late October. There is some risk of snow and closed Alpine passes, but I did Euro Delivery (of a BMW) back at that time in 2005 and the fall colors and everything was awesome.

Yes but I asked for 6 months insurance originally when I hoped for summer pickup. Now it looks like 3 months of use at best and many tracks close in Nov... I may get 20-30 available track days in before Christmas but I will lose some of those days to winter weather.

Lol...not bitter...if I don't get one then I will be #1 on the forthcoming NA 918 light version list and enjoy my GT3 until then.

Edit: I will re-phrase my answer...yes I will be bitter...sour as a lemon.

I talk early this week with my dealer about the ten weeks delay for the bucket,yes they have the comunication from Porsche,but they have it from beginning April(if i'm not wrong at that time were 8 weeks).
So i don't know if my car is affected or not about this delay(also my dealer know nothing).

BUT

on the terminal,there is reported delivery week 31(end July),so somehting changed,becouse before on the terminal there was only the months of production but not the estimated delivery,so the thing seems better than before.
my dealer tell me he has not V200,V150 etc.(Italy) he have some other codes.

After my call,he sent another urgency for my car asking a delivery 10th july,and we are waiting the reply from Porsche,tomorrow i will be there and then i let you know if there is news.

If i can take the car before summer holidays(august) will be great!!

I would probably rather have the standard seats but it would kill the resale I think.
