And a dealer trying to sell a car at $50k over MSRP is hardly going to be honest...

Demand is very very high, my dealer gets calls everyday on the RS, not many calls on the 4 and very little interest on the Spyder. I wouldn't be surprised if we end up with 1,500+ in the US as the demand is clearly here.

I remember reading somewhere Turbo(s) and GT3 make up approximately 10% of annual 911 total sales (approximately 12k units in the U.S.). If those numbers are true, 600 GT3 RS a year (5% of 911 sales) makes sense to me. Doesn't sound too small or large given its niche.

Stay on your list people. I muuuuuuuuust be wrong. Totally. My dealerships upfront pricing totally gives me motivation to feed skewed information.
I'm suuuuuure Porsche will build more cars. Totally. 1500 GT3 RS's, no problem.

You know what! The wait list on the 918 is unreasonably long. I'm sure Porsche won't say no to money they will definitely build more. Come on, at a million a pop.... why not build more?

Some players like to ride the bench and some Ballers like to play Ball.

Lets cal this an unofficial list. Pay attention to the delivered GT3RS models to USA.
Then I'd appreciate some educated, unbiased input......annnnnnd GO

Really?!?! One of the top selling Porsche dealerships in the world says we will only get 600 GT3RS to the United States. Shiiiit. They must be fudging the numbers to sell more cars. That can't be true..... We should trust the opinion of an anonymous forum troll. (he said with an amazing amount of sarcasm)

There's a fundamental difference between a limited number production car(you know...the one they put a number on) and a small number production car. The GT3 RS is the latter.

Your back handed comment is neither warranted nor appreciated. I also believe your prediction is wrong. It is backed by absolutely no evidence. I do believe if you are referring to "WE" as the United States market in your statement you will be very surprised. I say that with all undeserved respect.

I do believe you are correct. I can only make an educated decision about the future based on the patterns of the past backed by a statement made by a high ranking Porsche employee.

Believe it or not, that is up to you, good sir.

Look at the production numbers for the 997 GT3 and look at the numbers for the 991 GT3 and you'll see a difference. It has increased. The same will happen with the RS. There's no need to know anyone within PAG to figure that out. Plus, this board already knows the highest ranking official within PAG : the cleaning lady.

I agree, some things can change, some will stay the same. I can only go off of my feedback from my manager, my regional manager and Mr. Lawrence.

Not claiming to have crazy insider information or know the guy/team that makes the call on production numbers. Just giving my thoughts from having my *** planted in a dealership every day.

I'm not too concerned.....if I really want one I'll either be able to buy it from a dealer or better yet from a private party. Till then I'll enjoy my 1 of 1 PTS 997 RS and 991 GT3. I can wait....
