Any clarification on the August builds? I heard that Porsche is shut down that entire month so either those build dates in the list are wrong or I have been given wrong info.

This is only 37 cars and several are 918 owners. Out of 700 or (we aren't sure) allocations.

There are bunch that are not members of this forum or choose not to talk about it.

Im in for a September build..

Mine is a UK Car, build due Oct 2015 and RHD.

While the factory shuts down for August it is usually 4 weeks and not 31 days, and can begin late July, hence 28 August is a possible build date. I'd be wondering about all them Han's , Fritz's, Gunther's and Heidi's building a car on their first day back after a four week hoon but then I remember my 7.2RS was built very close to that date in 2010 and was the best built car I ever owned.

I just got a message from my dealer, my May build RS is now a July build. Someone posted about an 8 week delay due to a lack of bucket seats, I guess my car fell into that bin. @!#A

I went for white. Why? Because I can get a full wrap any color I like for about $2,000 and protect the original finish. Seems like a better deal than 3.700 (in Canada) for Lava Orange for example.

Now looking at September delivery and with Global Warming it will probably snow up here in October.
