In the US configuration the marker has always been yellow. I'm sure because I had originally asked if it was possible to customize it to LO on my order and told no. The LO option is relatively new.

I saw the option and I have orange stitching.
But the needles on the analog dials are yellow. I like to think steering is still analog so kept it yellow and save $325. That's like 20 six packs after track days

Good to know. Thank you all for the replies.

I wish there was a way to get notified when Porsche adds stuff to the options list. I've missed out on things before because of this.

Indeed. Rich enough to make me drop orange stitching from interior.

Orange stitching is no charge! Yellow matches dials

Don't like clash unless it's coming out of the speakers.

White stitching?

My rental Camry has red deviated stitching throughout.
Gotta have it if you want to roll in style.

Mclaren has added needed service and sales locations, and will continue to add more. The shared space with Maserati at dealerships has also helped the brand tremendously. The resale value will become better. As for the cars themselves, all I can say is wow. Very beautiful, well built, fast, and the carbon fiber tub, makes for light car.

I love Porsche's and have a gt3 rs on order, but the 12c is a different type of animal.

Driving a 2014 991 GT3 and then getting into a 12C during the 4-month stop sale/"no drive" period in early 2014, noted two distinct and immediately obvious differences ... differences that made staying with the GT3 easy.
1. The GT3s utterly fast and crisp PDK, which the 12Cs 7-speed DCT did not favorably compare to ... the difference was obvious
2. The 12Cs turbo lag

If you want a great track car the GT3 was an easy choice ... for the street, maybe you'd be satisfied with the 12C (but tough once you drove the GT3)

Current U.S. allocations can't spec the new colors. They're only available from Sept allocations onward. Note: allocation date, not build date.
