fbirch. Definitely makes sense otherwise you can guarantee one of the would have a billboard in town claiming the others time was a cheat!

Im wondering if it has to do with where the tracks can be joined or crossed over - if you look to the right these sector seems to have long removable armco? Used to join the both together for some spectator infield work?

The 918 video is amazing; what I am confused over though is how there is next to no tyre noise.... does this mean slicks?

To make it short, a car lost its oil on the track and a 991 GT3 has struck it. Then, the first car was caught on fire.

The driver of the first car is dead, and the second one is at the hospital, in bad condition. This is '"igirl" on this forum.

Don't hesitate to invest into a good equipment, even for a "funny" track day.

Sorry for the bad news, but I think this is important.
RIP Davy, aka "igirl"...

just a short clip of how she handles in the wet going sideways.

This was at a Porsche Club UAE Wet Handling event where the focus is learning to adjust when you loose control of the car.

there was a kick plate and everything.

Hope you enjoy

Furthermore, the difference in video time between those two points is exactly equal to the indicated lap time (to within the +/- 1 sec resolution of the video timer), which establishes that the video timer and lap timer are not skewed relative to each other.

Using those same two start and stop points in the Porsche video (which has no lap timer, only video time), you get 6:57 almost exactly. So it appears that both Nismo and Porsche are using consistent start and stop points, but those two points exclude a small portion of the track that represents about 4-5 sec of lap time. So both companies are probably following an established standard that so happens to be just short of a complete physical lap. Make sense?

20,8km - Full lap
20.6km - SportAuto/industry standard lap (ie minus the T13 straight)
19.1km - BtG lap

A Couple of videos of my GT3 cup experience at Barber in the 991 GT3 and 991 GT3 Cup car.
Unfortuanely my memory stick in the GoGpro filled up before I got the Green light to open it up
in the Cup car. But the GT3 was as best as I could do. I love that car. Can't wait to get mine in a week or so.

No track reports / video's the last couple weekends?
More people tracking incoming ships with GT3 on it than the actual GT3 ;-)
