What will it take from Porsche to make current GT3 owners feel "right" in the end?

WOW. I literally forgot about the sport buckets since they are to this moment a unicorn. But YES--cost basis or gratis (I'm dreaming, I know...) and I can be bought off with gifts...

Just curious. If car requires an engine swap etc- would u be satisfied with that or ask for a totally brand new car with whatever happened fixed up. I'm talking engine swap not replacing ancillaries. If internal- is it greedy to ask for a new build? Mike

I'm keeping calm but a replacement car, some $$ or free service compensation AND extended warranty would only be fair. I got all 3 from BMW for just 4 days of downtime due to HPFP failure - warranty on affected parts was extended to 10 years unlimited miles, same or higher class loaner, and free oil change (they were not free normally on my car).

I've answered it in the other thread(s), but here it goes in order of priority:
1. Extended warranty.
2. Free service / maintenance.
3. Discount of some sort on the car or on a future model.
4. In keeping with sentiment of the car, free tuition to a Porsche Driving School.

Engine swap OK.
Surgery not.
No. I'd move on.

Lets go back to basics.
I work hard for the cash to buy the car, pay tax on it, pay insurance, pay for the garage its taking up space in etc. its fair these are all covered. They are all out of pocket no question. Maybe some folks don't need to worry about this and cut the manufacturer some slack. I suspect many of us work long and hard to afford this kind of vehicle, or pay the bank for the privilege.
I doubt I will own the car car more than 3 years. Warranty extension won't help me. If there needs to be an extended warranty then it says to future buyers that there is something wrong therefore depreciates the car artificially. So need to make good on this count.
I'm out of pocket this week if I can't get a another car together for a DE event. I'm waiting and hoping that Porsche will lift this don't drive it ban and then I'm good to go. If not, I'm out of pocket so its fair these costs are covered (hotel, pits garage rental, track use charge).
Loaner cars - it's not quite as easy to get one. My dealer is in FL and I am a long way from there. They offered to trailer a loaner to me, very kind of them. I don't want a cayenne or panamera though, why would you when its to replace something quite different.
Driving school with Porsche - been to plenty thanks. Maybe the cup car day at barber would be cool but otherwise its just time out of the schedule and I'd rather drive my own car anyway.
So bottom line, cash is king. Always has been, always will.
This said, I'd take a pair of the sport bucket seats that everyone else other than USA gets (which we should have had in the first place).
Time will tell.
What I do know is that time elapsed from the initial report to 'fix' is inversely proportional to patience and tolerance. Complexity of the 'fix' just gears up the latter.
Communication blackout is just making it worse as has been said so many times here.

Out of pocket is easy for everyone id have thought. I didn't add depreciation, thats tricky. Everything else easier. Won't be the same for everyone, depends where you live and how much you subsidize your town/county/state/country with various charges.
This is where it comes back to time elapsed from stop drive order. Likely the longer the time period, the more ones time is valued.
