Macca, thanks for the WELL THOUGHT OUT INFO. I am (more or less) in the same boat as Clocked - except I am v260, with an original delivery date of May 16, AND A VIN with an 'E', i.e. 2014 VIN assigned. I believe your post nails it. That said, I have heard NOTHING from PCNA or my DEALER, except for Tim Quinn's original letter from 3 weeks ago.....
If the rumor that European and German customers cars are headed to factory for engine replacement then why wouldn't they do our cars to and get them the hell out of there? If they send me a retraction letter

Macca do you think I can assume I'm in the same boat as these guys the only difference I was V290 and no I never got a VIN. Porsche, the computer and my my dealer all say June sometime. I am thinking no way, I'm just waiting to get the word I'm a 2015 now. Starting to sound like anything left at the factory will not be finished? I know several guys here online that their cars were started but now they are 15's. Effectively Porsche has changed their minds in the last 10 days with regards to these cars. Is this why Ian is no longer returning calls, because what's he going to say....sorry we uh umm well you see now we are not going to give you this car, we are going to get you are car in the fall. This deal with clocked is a bit disturbing and his info straight from Tim Quinn and he did include his commission information. So are we going to get a new email retracting previous offer.....really.

And who do you know that had a car actually at some stage of production( V260 or higher completed), that now is a 2015? You are saying their 2014 build got scrapped? I think Quinn was just confused by Clocked's email with regard to engine completion date.

My car went v270 02/21/14. Dealer told me I have a VIN. Was to be at dealer 5/16 /14 as a MY 14. Got the Tim Quinn email.
Just got word from dealer that I now have a 10/24/14 delivery date and it will be a MY 15. It doesn't make sense. So is my car going to sit at factory for 8 months so it can get a new engine and wait for Porsche to change it to a 15?
I am trying to have my dealer confirm date changes and in fact it will be a 15.

That's what I'm wondering. Maybe Porsche is going to start from scratch? Could the MY14 cars sitting at factory be used for other purposes like Porsche Driving Schools, racing or give to executives at PAG? Then just run a new build through the line for me as a 15?

All depends on how any there are and how any Porsche typically stocks their Driving Schools with.

Yeah. I'm confused as well. I keep telling my the dealer things just don't add up. I think I'm still getting an 14 as well. Heading into dealer tomorrow to try to get an answer. If our cars are built and just waiting for an engine why would it take until October to get them delivered? Can't imagine Porsche wants to pay me $12,000 to wait an extra 6 months for a car that is almost finished. (original delivery date 4/18/14) Wait, that's really depressing. My car was to be delivered tomorrow.

^- Guys none of this is making any sense. I do not believe our Concierges' are being fed correct data.
If you have a 2014 that the car was built(minus engine) how can it be moved to Oct and still be a 2014 build. All of this stuff is ludicrous and I do not think the dealers can help because all they do is look at what is conveyed in their system - which could be completely wrong and waiting for an update. I think Porsche is so confused right now and completely understaffed to manage this.

I am waiting for a response from Quinn related to the cars that where on the production at the time of stop sale.
Ian has a list of those that got cars moved from a 2014 to a 2015. He admitted the list is three weeks ago so updates may
PNA has my car as a 2014 that completed production on 4/15. Per the Quinn letter I have mine will be a 2015 and the 2014 was cancelled.
Who is telling the truth?
Shall we play a game of truth or dare?

I would bet yours will be a 2015. If they are providing a Loaner and compensation until that time frame only you can decide whether it is worth the wait. Being that you have a 458 to enjoy, as well, I do not think you are in bad shape. If it was going to be a 2014 at the same time 2015 coming out then that would be a whole different situation to consider

From what has been posted here, if you get a 2015, you do not get the cash.
