You haven't been paying attention to my posts for the last 18 months: sequential for the track; manual for the street.
And I have no issues with those you prefer PDK for the street. I do have an issue with not being given the choice on a street GT3.
And to further clarify, the paddles on the Cup do not operate a PDK-style dual-clutch transmission. There's a difference.
Hope that clears up any confusion.

OK guys, I just received a call from PCNA! Not exactly the call that we all want, but let me report what was said.
I paid for my GT3 in December and took delivery of it in Germany on January 10. This was the first communication of any sort that I have received from PCNA! I'm OK with that because I know that they don't have much to report and I have otherwise been in frequent contact with my local dealer.
They called to ask if I had received a letter and if it had met my expectations. I said that no, I had never received any communications from PCNA but that I was indeed interested in hearing about the latest status of the GT3 investigation. The rep started off with the usual "we're waiting to hear from the engineers in Germany and we don't know anything yet....".
I stopped her there and said OK, I understand, but let me ask a question. I said that I didn't receive the letter but I had seen a copy of the letter signed by Tim Quinn last week. In the letter Mr. Quinn said that we could expect to have "a more definitive resolution....towards the middle or end or next week." I said what I wanted to know was whether there was still the expectation or hope that we would hear something by this week.
She said that yes, there was still the hope that that would happen, but had no guarantee. I asked her to confirm that there had NOT been any indication that the communication of the resolution would be put off beyond Friday. She said that was correct, so there was still some hope.
Take this as you may, but since the answer wasn't negative, I'm staying positive.

But I agree with you that manual is preferred for street. (I say that never having driven the 991 GT3)

p.s. as an example. I was already annoyed when Tesla kept delaying their Model S (or as mooty calls it, the big giant *****) ... we had our deposit 2.5 years before we got the car. It was frustrating with the delays, but heck at least we got a working car!
