Agree on the high revving part; no way turbo can rev like a GT3. Can't agree on the throttle response. Car I drove had no discernible lag and was a monster down llow. Torque curve virtually guarantees that. The M3/M4 have throttle response that can be adjusted so I wonder if the one you drove wasn't set aggressively.

Plenty of manuals out there to be had for those that want one. Jaguar is about to announce a manual option for the F-Type. That is going to be a serious hooligan car.

Color looks great. As I said, there'll be a lot of BO RS's running around if that's the official release color. Cops will dig it too.

Naturally aspirated.

Yes. 4.0 to get a few more ponies and they weren't going to go back to the old fuel injection, now would they?! That still won't tell us if it's Turbo or NA. But based on my " source " inside the factory(he cleans the factory when everyone's gone for the day),he hasn't seen any Turbos around the RS assembly line.

He doesn't know much about these cars, but he did say he saw a huge wing on the assembly line, some RS badging and a couple of quarter panels with holes in them. When I told him he might have been cleaning the Turbo assembly line, his response was a question : " Does the new Turbo come with a 6 speed manual ? "

Take look at the new Autocar article. It doesn't mention the 991 GT3 RS at all, does it mean no GT3 RS in Paris?

^^A manual???? What ever the outcome if it is NA it will be a car to be had. But; if you do a Turbo and put in a Manual - that would stir the masses. Too hard core for me but I can not wait to see one- if even possible because it will be in short supply

Took a ride in the current F-Type R the other day. It's a lot of fun and has a great sound track. If they ever got serious about weight loss it would be hard to resist.

And the long rumored manual gearbox option for the F-Type too...

Even Chevy is adding a manual after the fact to a big *** heavy sedan.
First the Corvette, than a solid track effort with the Camaro and new even a RWD V8 manual...
I think they are on the right path.

There has not been the slightest change from the first spec I saw.

N/A
PDK-S
Lots of CF and magnesium roof
4 litre
No manual option
Slightly more power. 500+
Blood Orange launch colour
Option colors silver,metallic black,white
No decals
Likely 918 seats and wheels

Could change,but that's what I saw.
