It explains why I have no BMW in the garage...after three E39s, including an M5, a 645ci and an E63 M6, and many before that. For my particular taste, they just went away.....

.. In the meantime hopefully there enough idiots to buy Porsche Hybrids to please the other idiots in order to free up the Porsche Carbon allocation for GT3's and NA 911's. -- I'm tell all the Naive folks in Chicago (which is a lot) as custodians of the earth to step up to the plate buy HYBRID CAYENNE'S.
I'm sure they will figure it out. SUV was a loophole around CAFE standards, -- putting a car on a TRUCK chassis -- and look how that backfired.. ROTF X 20..

And I'll definitely be buying one of those 4 pot 911's in the future! Hopefully, it'll be a hybrid as well. Automatic, big wing on the back, maybe a hood scoop up front if its optional. Heard a rumor it'll be called the STi version... "Love. It's what makes Porsche a Porsche".

Still a few in the two wheel cousins...but intriguing.
Thanks for the insight!

Nice, and it looks like the wing doesn't block the rear-view mirror! Much appreciated.
The April Pano seems to confirm some rumors we've seen here: 4.0L engine, <3086 lbs, >500 hp.
"May use the same wheels and tires as the 918"
"Advanced aero... unsurpassed downforce".
Perhaps they'd better sell through the 918 before they publicly unveil with an associated 'ring time.
The 4.0 should come with a big bump in low end torque, which would be awfully useful for... I live in hope.

If this info is correct, then the performance of the RS will undoubtedly surpass the Z28 and possibly/likely even the Z06. I don't cross shop those three cars but the latter two have been brought up here recently. What I am curious about is how will it fair against the McL 650.
On a mildly unrelated topic, the pains of the GT3 will probably be forgotten soon (3-4 months). There are actually some signs of recovery (people sharing build questions, asking (again) about bucket seats, GMG reposting their new roll bar, etc... Time heals.

Wing looks good and high.
Not that one should make car buying decisions solely on rearward visibility, but I want to be able to check my rear window for cops (and safety).......and cops.
Doesn't look like I'll get my GT3 in time to race it this year, makes me think more about an RS for next spring.
