Well let's bet on that ![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
I think the prototype does not show "everything". But you need air for the engine, even on the prototype... therefore I don't think they just use the Turbo side inlets for the prototype and get the air scoop for the real car. This would just mess up the whole packaging of the rear... you don't do that.

991 RS comes with an evolution of the gt3 current engine (reliable) and a PDK best than the best F1 Ferrari gear box.
Expected in september in Paris Motor Show.

FWIW:
Porsche CEO Müller made the following key points in an interview with German car magazine AMS (to be published tomorrow, excerpts on their website):
1.E-powered next generation sports car is conceivable, provided range can be extended to 300-400 km
2 Launch of GT3 RS likely to be delayed until GT3 engine problems are fully resolved, summer launch no longer likely.
3. Production of next generation Cayenne to be moved entirely to Bratislava
4. Production of next generation Panamera to be moved entirely to Leipzig
Apparently the RS will be using the same engine as the GT3.

But I will never buy an E-powered 911. Ever.

Why not? No rod bolts (or any other of the many hundreds of parts in an internal combustion engine) to break...
Some day the battery and other limitations may be solved to the point where it's better performing, more fun, less expensive to run, has better throttle response, and far more reliable.
Not saying we're close today, but I would never say never...

RS formula should be straightforward. Pull one of these off the line, add a passenger seat, airbags, 5mph bumpers, A/C for the tropics, SPASM, MPSC 2s, tone down the exhaust (just a bit), slap a window sticker on it, and whatever you do don't touch the motor. Done.
