The GT-S is not meant to compete with the GT3, but rather the Carrera S. This came straight from an AMG employee, who loved taking cars with me in additional to several articles I have read.

I was in Monterey right after the media days for the GT-S and had a brief conversation this AMG guy who was cleaning up and shipping the 27 cars (actually he corrected himself and said 26, as one 'did not make it'. I took it to mean one was crashed) on to the next location. Monday they started an invite only event at Thermal Club near Palm Springs.

I think the black series will be a great car and probably on my list, but I don't think it will have the track focus of the Gt3, definitely not the RS.

Guys, take a flight ticket for Geneva, the 991 RS gets definitively launched there!

The info I have in Germany from my dealer (I have a 991 RS on order): 4.0 liter and 500 HP confirmed, only PDK, rear 21" and front 20", Nordschleife lap time officially "under 7.30" but test drivers would have achieved a 7.10 ... Deliveries will not start before May and all cars will be delivered by end 2015 (no more production in 2016).

Heard the exact same things here, though June deliveries for the US.

There was just a dealer event with PCNA Atlanta and no mention of the RS at all, which seems to mean Detroit is out.

Porsche is going to sell alot of front lips. Look at the ground clearence on the one in the background

Not being ungrateful but I wonder who takes these pics...might as well go across the street and take a pic. Go closer,like 10 inches away and stick your phone in their faces! LOL! What are they're going to do...throw rocks at you?!

Thanks!!!! Awesome. Any guesses what they were trying to hide on the front? And you mentioned a cf bumper or splitter before. Was the front lip in cf?
