P.S. Ill take a picture tomorrow but all you see in your left and right side mirrors are these beautiful round haunches when you drive. They have the proportions just right and it really has a lovely coke bottle shape reminiscent of the turbo and C4S 993 generation - very nicely penned...

Great pics - thanks for sharing!

What size gas tank did you go with? 90L? If 90L how is the Frunk space? Looks like you have a decent amount of luggage in there. I assume the 90L tank will mean smaller frunk?

I have the 60L (which incidentally according to the manual is 70L as it has a 10L reserve!). My car is RHD ROW and there is no 90L option otherwise I may have ordered that.

From what I am told the tank size does not affect the trunk size it the same for both. My luggage set was made for 991 and fits perfectly and provided 105 Litres storage - very hand for long trip. The dealer gave me as gift a beautiful leather 911-50 weekend bah which also perfectly fits trunk but is now stowed in back behind cage. Wife needs mucho shoes.

Neutral review too, spot on I'd say, touched the positive without praising,in the same time not leaving out the things where they could've done better. Congrats again Macca and enjoy! Your posts started to grow on me since you've picked up the car. Great pics too!

P.S. Is that front plate a sticker?
Hi there, doing my best!

Front plate is swiss tax free. Its alloy and affixed using double sided sponge tape (three lengths - god knows how Ill get it off after). The car comes with Euro plate mount frame (black) which I will use later when car is exported. These Swiss plates very cool - very small alloy and you just pre deflect them to fit curve of bumper...

Great thanks Macca for the info! I never thought about the RHD and the larger tank, but definitely makes sense. The fitted luggage is a great idea. I have seen the 911 50 weekend bags and thats a nice gift!

I hear you about the shoes - gotta keep the wife happy.

No doubt the car is lovely in white, Macca! Getting in and out of those sport buckets is just something you get used to. If that and a slightly misaligned hood are the only real complaints you have so far, I'd call it a win at this point. Living vicariously through your reports for now as we await our own cars. Thanks and enjoy!

Thanks, macca! I am both happy to read your stories as well as envious like crazy.

I have been told yesterday that my car is supposed to arrive in Dubai mid January, finally! Based on your stories, it looks like it has been worth the wait... but it'll be up against some fierce competition from Italy which will arrive about 6 - 8 weeks later! ;-)

did you record your drive through the tunnel with the windows down? How nice did that sound? In Seattle it is hard for me to get out of third just to listen :-)
