add another 40kg for turbos and your at 1505kg (3318 lbs). I can't see the GT3 being much lighter then a 991S. So my guessing only a 200 lbs difference.

I guess all the nannies, 20's and centerlocks are meant for track guys and racing.
Kind of fits in with your delusion that your 997 is a bigger change from the 996 than the 991 is from your 997..........
LOL.

The Turbo has a lot more equipment as standard than the "normal" Carreras so it's base weight will be more. It makes more sense to work backwards from the 997 TT than forward from a 991 C4S. The 997 TT had a curb weight of 3510 lbs. If they can knock 100 lbs off of that (they reduced the weight of the 991S by 80 lbs) you're still looking at a 3400+ lb car. The info that's been leaked about the GT3 indicates that they've taken almost 100lbs out of the car from the previous model which will make it around, say, 3000-3050. That's a difference of 350-400 lbs between the TT and GT3. My prediction, anyway.

I see you still have your winning personality and touch with the language.
Didn't the 997.2 GT cars come with centerlocks? 19's? PASM, ABS, PSM? If the above is your only criteria for track worthy cars, that ship sailed long ago.
I had a first generation 996 for 8 years. I own a 997.2S. The 997 has all new body panels (except for the roof), a heavily revised interior, revised rear suspension, stability management, dynamic suspension control, bigger brakes, dual clutch transmission, and most importantly a completely new DFI powerplant, just to name some of the major items. As I said in the statement you are referencing, a world of difference. The 991 has many changes from the 997, but the heart of the car, the drivetrain, is essentially the same. We can split hairs about different features but your use of the word delusional is, as usual, pure hyperbole.
I'm not sure what this has to do with the new GT3 but thought I'd respond since you brought it up. Always enjoy our interaction....

Correct. But the advantage is still the same, worth it IMO to get all of that hardware and oil lines out of the engine compartment and less mass for the engine to rotate.

They tricked everyone with the CL gimmick last time, this time people know it's a gimmick and they are still selling it.
PASM, PSM, ABS and.... PDCC, PDK, PTV+, rear steering. The nannies will have doubled. Soon you will have to push a button to fart in your own car as that will be computer controlled as well.
Hahaha, delusion, um yeah, like I said, a 996 with a body kit and and interior. Revised suspension, heavily revised interior? What are you a Porsche salesman? It's the same thing with small revisions and 90% of the suspension parts swap right on over. Meanwhile the 991 has (turn's on saleman voice) a completely new and far lighter chassis, not just a bigger version of the previous one, a MORE heavily revised completely all new interior, significantly bigger wheelbase, far more suspension changes just to name a few. Oh, and while we are at it, let's use some of your nannies against you. PDCC, PTV, rear steering..........
Keep telling yourself that you have a 991 in sheeps clothing all you want. The rest of us will enjoy a good laugh.
