Although this habit does produce some interesting parking lot trolling. Came out of a restaurant once, was parked at least 4 rows further out than any other car in the lot, with tons of available parking much closer to the entrance.

And right next to my car, slid most of the way over in it's spot to be closer to me, was a BMW of some sort. Wiseass. LOL Had to pull out of the spot to make room for my GF to get in the car. But I was laughing while doing it. Gotta love a good troll-job.

I'm pretty relaxed on taking my car anywhere, and I mean anywhere... I live in Brooklyn, so half the time its either Gravel Rally Stage or Rut Filled Off Road Course. Brooklyn Costco is an absolute insane place, I used to take the cayman there and then one time I witnessed a lady "forget" her shopping cart and let it roll right into the front of my DD, no damage. So now I take the Cayman less to BK Costco.

I see a surprising number of 911s parked on the street in NYC. Almost always with nose and rear end scuffs and dents. Makes me cringe. But if it’s leased and will be returned every couple/few years, I get it.

But I think a GT car is a work of art. I’m all for driving them hard; that’s what they’re made for. But I’m gonna take pains to keep it looking like new the whole time I have it.

I love seeing street parked Porsches in the city. I’m a believer in the best car is the one you’re driving.

with regard to parking. usually ppl are careful when they park next to nice cars.
but it is what it is.
I used to worry a lot.
now I am way over the hill.
nothign really worries me anymore.
the freaking GT3 sits on driveway now and we are getting 2" rain in a day....
God will wash it for me.
