Thank you!

Interesting that the ZL1 strakes are before the front tire... I would think that creates some lift vs porsche deflecting behind the tire. Not pretending to know what I'm talking about but I am trying to determine IF I were to add these to the 7.2RS I am not messing with other aero i'm not considering.

I bought a set of the 4RS strakes to test on my 997. The shape of the wheel well is too different unfortunately. If anybody is interested in them PM me, they are brand new. I'm in North San Diego county.

Thank you everyone who contributed on this post. I just ordered the 4RS strakes, with the intent to use only the main piece (on each side) that fits without modification

if you can get the original OEM ones to come off that is ... mine would not - stripped a torx in trying.

Yikes. What'd you end up doing to remedy that? One thing I've noticed is that there's a decent amount of T27s that folks are using T25s on. Not accusing you of that, just saying I've seen it before

I

got mine installed last week. They took the rear liner off, and simply drilled and mounted them.
did a track day, and a speed run a
up to 300kmh, still on there.

Has anyone installed these on a .1 non-RS GT3? I'm curious how much extra drilling and cutting is required for that vehicle.

Just wanted to follow up here that I was able to get the 4RS strakes on (the main ones only, not the smaller ones) without much effort. I had the car on my buddy's lift already and it took about 10 min. Hopefully others have a similar experience to mine and not Larry's. I had the torx bit on a small 1/4" socket wrench and the screws came off fairly easily, thankfully.

I installed the GT4 RS strakes onto my car (991.1 GT3) along with the cup car fender liner parts from demonspeed. There was some minor cutting and drilling of plastic to make things fit but a super minor deal and fit is otherwise perfect. At Road America I felt that at 140mph and above the car was less floaty feeling up front. At BIR the car seemed to lift up front particularly approaching 160 mph. I look forward to seeing if it feels different on the long track at BIR as well.
