Also installed mine tonight (991.2 GT3)

Similar to Wind911, the main piece fit with no issues

For the side pieces, I did have to make the same modification to the bottom in order to clear the pinch weld

I also enlarged the holes slightly to give the screws a bit more room but aside from that the pieces seem to fit flush on my car. I wonder if the hump is perhaps only on the RS?
I opted not to install the additional screw for not to avoid drilling a hole - it seems sturdy enough with the 3 existing screws so I think it should be fine.

Completed

Side profile:

Some additional notes:
- I started off using my quickjack but found that the frame interfered with the last screw on the main piece + also with the fins from the side piece. I didn't check afterwards if my quickjacks will still work now with the strakes but it seems like it might not
- The third screw of the main piece (third from the front of the car) is longer than the other screws so be sure to double check that before reinstalling

Is your car 991.1 or 991.2? Yours is smooth but on my 991.2 RS you can clear see the hump.

I'm probably only going to install the large strakes anyway on my .2 ... if anyone wants the smaller 4RS parts LMK

Mine is a 991.2. yeah, looking at your photos the fender liner looks a bit different from mine. Assuming this is specific to the RS

Here is another photo before I installed the side piece that better shows the fender liner

@bishwei Your images are excellent, this thread is turning out to be a real treat.

I'm going to fit these onto a .1 3RS in a couple of weeks.

When you say you only used three screws, are you saying that by making the screw holes slotted in the strake that that allowed you to reach the screw hole on the underside of the car? If I have this correct, any concern about the screw and washer having enough clamping force to hold in place with the slotted openings? If I don't have this right please correct me.

Probably going to order these tomorrow and put them on before my event at Road America at month's end.

just an FYI for everyone, the GT2RS which has the underside (main) strakes does *not* have the 4RS strakes that are located behind the wheel so it may be sufficient for a 991.2 car to only install the main components like the 2RS

p.s I suspect that the 4RS specific strakes are there to deal with the modified wheel well shape behind the front wheels ... I expect the 3RS will have similar components there also... since it too has this "cutaway" silhouette

I opt to drill the 3rd hole unlike @bishwei that left his un-drilled, also added a thin double side tape in-between before applying the plastic screws.

So far, it's holding up as intended.

I got a little confused between the 2 sets/models…….. what’s the part# and where to get the set of large strakes that Larry & Bishwei grabbed?

they come as a complete kit (for the 4RS) large + small for both sides of the car - a relative bargain!
