Default Anyone using Surface Transforms Ceramic Rotors?

Asking because I am considering buying a set of the "upgrade" rotors to convert an iron car to ceramic. I'd love to discuss this on the phone with an actual GT car owner who has done this (or bought the replacement ones for a PCCB car.)

Thanks.
Tim

Tay - Thank you.

I'd like to speak to someone who owns them if possible.

I believe there is a lot to be found about them already in the mentioned threads. What (or why) would you like to discuss on the phone that you can not ask here openly? I have them and maybe I can help, but why on the phone?

So care to share what your private conversations yielded to the rest of us proletariat who may be interested in the swap to ST?

Yes, once I have something of meaning to say about my decision, experience, etc. I'll post it if I think it will be helpful to anyone else.

Yep I have them on my 3RS. Very impressed with them. If you go to any track day in UK the majority of GT cars will be running them.

For almost the same price as the ST discs, you can have a complete AP Racing Competition Brake Kit with Radi-CAL calipers similar to what the 911 RSR runs. Our system doesn't weigh much more than the OEM PCCB setup and is 33 lbs. less than the OEM 991 GT3 brakes. It has a long list of performance, convenience, and long-term cost benefits over carbon ceramic discs mated to OEM calipers. You can see lots of details on our site: https://www.essexparts.com/my-vehicl...RS/Iron%20Disc

Many firsthand owner reviews and feedback on our blog: https://www.essexparts.com/news-blog

Our setup is as close as one can get to the AP Racing Radi-CAL systems used in IMSA, and you get to preserve your stock calipers for when you sell your car.

We have a bit of experience with the Surface Transform products. Would love to be a resource for any information, pricing, experience and availability needed.

I wonder if the surface transform from 991 cars would fit on the 992 GTs. Has anyone confirmed this?
