The 991 GT3/RS Cars For Sale Thread...

How did this thread turn into a "my d!ck is bigger than your d!ck" thread?
Can't we just all agree that we have "d!cks" and leave it at that.
(And, for what it's worth, if you have an X and Y chromosome and for some reason don't have a "d!ck" you've got issues that transcend RL.")

Beautiful blue RS. They go for so much, though! I don't know that it would be worth the 40-50k difference compared to a gt3 for me. Especially when I kind of want a manual (for the NA+manual combo).
But then again so many of the rs are prime examples compared to the random weird specs I see some of the gt3 for sale lately.
I've set a goal for myself to buy my first gt3(rs or not) this coming year, and I guess I just hope there's a good offering available this coming summer/fall because I won't be able to get a 992 allocation regardless. I figure maybe price points and specs will be easier to find then?
I don't even want that much. FAL+carbon seats+manual in a non-white non-****-color would be more than enough for me to check out.

Here’s a yellow GT3 Touring w/6k miles for sub $175k, haven’t been really tracking tourings but looks like its asking price is pretty fair if you like yellow and a more basic build.
https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/d...ff=share_other
And then a more well optioned GT3T with less than 2k miles for $184k

Wait, they want more than MSRP for it? I notice other GT3s less than MSRP with miles... must be due to the touring package? I definitely wouldn't get it then if I understand correctly.

there can be huge swings in price based on options. sometimes more than the options themselves cost. For example a car not specced with buckets might sell for 10k more than an identical car without buckets. Even though the option is 5k. Because the cost to add them later is very high (low supply, big demand).
My piece of advice is to wait until your perfect spec comes along and snag it before someone else does. you might overpay a little but you are the one staring at it in the garage everyday. that feeling of getting a 'deal' on a car or saving 10k wears off soon. And you're left staring at a car thats not 100% what you want. If you aren't picky with colors, brakes, or seats then there is plenty of room to haggle though.

Tourings are probably the best investment if you want a GT3. They routinely go for over MSRP. Is it worth it ? only time will tell.

For anyone who was talking with "Marco" about the UV .1 RS in Honolulu for $153k that was listed in the RL classifieds, it's a scam. I just talked to the real seller, and he is now aware that someone is using his pictures.
