The 991 GT3/RS Cars For Sale Thread...

That's a great price on a dealer certified! But yes, I really wanted a manual - it's what I missed from my 991.1 - the engagement of a manual gearbox.
While I expect all my cars to depreciate, I do try to limit the depreciation so I can get in and out of a car every couple of years or so. Mid 150's on a manaul feels fair right now - I think it could drop to the mid 130's as a floor in a couple of years, which I'm totally ok with after I put another 10k miles on it.
The challenge is convincing my wife that I'm only paying 20k for the car, but I have to 'park' 155k for a couple of years for the privilege:-)

I'm generally curious on the obsession that so many Porsche enthusiasts have with low mileage cars that are 5 or more years old, minor accidents drop the price like a salvage title, and a shade of blue balloons the price.
Every Porsche I've bought has been a high mileage car with small items on the Carfax. I get to drive a phenomenal car that has proven itself beyond that initial break in period and pay 20-30% less! I also tend to sell them for what I paid, or 5-10k less.
Right now I'm negotiating on a 991.2 gt3 with buckets, north of 40k miles, and a replaced bumper because the guy backed into a pole.
I will get the car in the 150's and it will be an amazing car. More importantly, I don't need to hold my breath everytime I park in a parking lot knowing if someone backs into me 25k gets looped off the value of my car.
I guess if people are looking for investments, it may make sense, but as a car, drive the crap out of it, and feel lucky if you get anywhere close to your money back when you get bored!

i think a PTS blue sold on BAT for around that price or slightly more and it only had 5k miles.....so adjust accordingly

As a data point for the Meerblau at Merit. Ferrari of Houston had a similarly spec'd one but with PCCB and 12k miles listed for 229,995 (full ppf, not tracked, akra exhaust, perfect condition). Previous owner received a flat 200k for trade (plus the tax savings of approx. 12k, so 212k)

For what it's worth, it looks like the Graphite Blue Touring at GRP is back for sale. Saw the ad and instagram post today . Was marked pending last Saturday or Sunday, guess something fell through.
