I say this as one of the bigger loudmouth's for the .1 on here - given the warranty expiration quickly approaching, I would tread lightly on picking one up at a premium without the G6 in place. Unfortunately, it does cast a little bit of a storm cloud over your ownership experience (or at least it did for me).
Not saying that the 'market' for .1's isn't strong, just that the informed buyer might want to either wait it out or jump to a .2

I've been keeping up with this thread for quite awhile and haven't seen anything on this car - seems to have a beloved PTS and all the right options and not a completely ridiculous price (from which to start off negotiating). Anyone know something about it - paintwork, bad DME, track car, etc???? 3500 miles with clean carfax with 3 owners. Thanks

Agreed. I'm thinking Miami Blue .2 3RS especially Weissach ones will be rare and worth a premium as everything else filters out. Beautiful cars and unique color that I don't think is offered anymore unless PTS.

I am going to throw this out there about what I learned because it didn't really pass the sniff test with me and I am hoping someone knows this Porsche Plano dealer and can comment
Used 2016 Porsche 911 For Sale | Plano TX | GS192575 (porscheplano.com)
.1 3RS, UV, "pccb", FAL, 4k miles, $226k - Ok so I called on this car because although it has obviously seen some track time (has cage/harnesses, ST rotors and Forgeline wheels), it is low mile---and most importantly the price seemed slightly less offensive than it did initially BECAUSE I noticed it is advertised as a CPO car. My questions to the dealer were based on my tired eyes seeing what appear to be Surface Transform rotors and obviously Forgeline wheels on the car (nothing wrong with those btw)-- thus, I asked them if the car was actually CPO'd in light of the aftermarket parts, one of which I considered pretty critical in terms of whether the deal was potentially of interest to me. I told them I was hopeful they were planning on returning the car to stock rotors and wheels in the CPO process (HEY, a guy can dream!). The first salvo I sent via email. Crickets. So I called. Spoke to "Andy" who first tried to tell me it was all stock. We got past that after he paused to ask someone else. I was then told they could CPO the car with those parts because they weren't covered under a CPO anyway and then proceeded to try to tell me how great the wheels and S/T CCBs were for true track use-- I interrupted him to explain that Porsche does actually warrant even PCCBs on a CPO car if there is a defect in workmanship/manufacturing based on my own dealings with them on a similar issue years ago. So I asked what happened if the S/T rotors had such an issue--well that got me a word salad only Kammie would understand. So, I politely told him with that I would pass and hung up. Caveat emptor

Yeah, that was probably me. Was that your white RS parked out front?
