According to Car Gurus and 4 other sites in which I check daily, inventory is about about the same +-5 GT3RS' as its been for months. Poison statement isn't false.

Wasn't false 2 weeks ago when both dealers in ATL had 3-4 RS +1-3GT3's each. Looks like they sold several of them in the past week including the Black Lizard I was keeping a eye on.

I don't understand how you can order a GT car without buckets let alone an RS. The buckets are comfy! And if you really want a grand touring car, buy a GTS.

Not everyone feels the same. The same people said the same about my sofa seat GT3. It sold and plenty calling me actually were looking for sofas. LWB are not that comfy.

I totally agree. Even Andreas Preuninger (head of the Porsche GT department) said on Spike's Car Radio that one of the must have options is bucket seats. The bucket seats are more comfortable IMO once you get in them. The hard part is getting in and out of them, which I am willing to put up with. I guess buyers who are elderly and/or have a bit of a gut will opt for the sofas. For me, no buckets is a deal breaker.

Irony being the yellow RS with sofas is "signed by AP"

LOL. I didn't even notice that. But I don't think he is going to refuse to sign some guys car because of the seats.

It doesn't make sense to have 1 seat for people of different build / height / weight. I'm 6'5 - this lw bucket doesn't recline - thus wearing a helmet is pretty much impossible. Porsche needs a recline function similar to Ferrari race seats.

They do make brackets that allow these seats to recline. Porsche has been putting bucket seats in their cars for decades and none of them have ever really had any adjustments besides moving forward and back, and more recently up and down.

Because some people don't want the buckets....I would never order/ buy a car with buckets from Porsche....wish they made them with an angle adjustment....it's good to have choices

Choices are good, yes. That's why they make the GTS

If you're after the "race car" experience, then it would make sense to get the seats that support that desire. Buckets provide that extra level of connectivity and feel that a GT car is all about.

There are 32 991.2 GT3 RS for sale nationally (filter by 2018 to 2020 model year).

Regardless, 72 nationally is not a lot (considering 3k or less were produced) for the US. The number sits because some are not the right spec (missing FAL, tracked heavily, no extended range fuel tank, no PDLS, bad PTS, etc etc)

Those hoping for a deal can keep looking

Well, with a qualifier like that your statement is meaningless.

What's a good option for you, might be completely a dud for another person. And vice versa.

Ya, I've owned the after market recliner brackets. Not a perfect solution since the bottom portion of the seat moves as well. I agree on your second point - they've made a non perfect bucket for a long time. Time to improve it.
