How does this work exactly(CXX)? You ask Porsche and if you’re lucky then they’ll commit to making all new parts in carbon fiber? Does that mean these parts could be ordered from the Porsche factory or is it just the one off?
Those CF parts are not CXX and are aftermarket. The CXX on this car pretty much consisted of additional leather pieces (leather frunk and interior pieces) and some Alcantara additions (seat inserts and door panels). CXX on this car totaled up to ~$50k! Leather and Alcantara additions as CXX options make virtually no difference to resale value. Some CXX can such as custom colored leather, pepita inserts, or exterior liveries. But it kinda depends on how tastefully the original owner specced the car and if buyers like the way it was done.

"go to 140k" you mean a few high mileage/hard tracked outliers? Most decent .1 RS were like 160's.

Wasn't it just up there? IIRC, the previous owner put a bid out there for $200 even.

It was in the Deal Tank for people to make offers on before the auction in case the owner got an offer they were willing to accept.

I’m pretty sure it was up on eBay before that - also bid up to $20x

I think this latest bubble pretty much saved pcarmarket.... It seemed like cars rarely ever transacted on that site before the GT3 FOMO + CHEAP MONEY market happened.

Yeah but but but but there was that one Canadian UV .1RS, on bat, the week of the border shutdown and total economic uncertainty.

140 was rare . 155-165 was pretty typical.

I was being facetious, it happened once in the perfect storm of things to go wrong and I think too many people have it burned into memory that the market was just that.

Anybody waiting for a .1RS to drop down to $140 better have the patience of a saint and/or not really want one that bad.

About a year ago dealers were trading in .1 RS's for $140K, I received a trade in of $135K on my .1 RS that I use to own at the time... lol! and I said F%$# You and hung up!

I don’t see the conditions of a year ago with peak of COVID-19 anytime soon. This was a very rare instance where no one knew what will happen with the economy. I remember calling my dealer, and they were saying they are not buying any car’s until further notice.
