Any experience with Chicago Motor Cars?

While going through this and searching cars, I am seeing low mileage, CPO 991.1 RS cars for 155-160 range and I might just do that just for the sake of ease of transaction (I can go see the car, can use 1.95% APR financing from PCNA, and i wont loose a lot of money if I get out of the car).
Anyways, just a thought. The .2 RS market came down from where it was a year ago (10-20k plus msrp), but the dealers have very little to no room on their published prices and private party sales are just priced way too high.

3-Pedals, is your insurance agent rating the car for limited use like 'no work' and 'no school' and limited yearly mileage? Stuff like that lowers your rate. If you are young enough, and had a "B" average in college, that discount also carries over for a few years after graduation. Just thinking out loud here.

- 0 claims of any kind
- Car driven 0-3000 miles for pleasure
- Every kind of alarm discount
So yes, did all that. No go. Cheapest I found with $1000 deductible is $189/montn.

listen, $189 is price of admission. It is what it is. I will pay for it. What can I do?
During this back and forth, one thing I realized is I dont know if its worth buying a .2 RS. One thing I can do is to keep my ZR1 and buy a .1 RS. I dont know trading a car like ZR1 is a smart move. Its a car like how 997 rs 4.0 was. Built completely unplanned, at the end of production cycle as a fairwell. There will never be a stick shift, front engine, 800 hp, 750 torque supercharged corvette again. There is no car like it on the planet that does everything (including targa top). There are literally 400 copies of my car worldwide (stick shift, coupe, high wing). I feel like it will be a huge mistake to sell it.
So maybe its a more sound decision to keep this car and buy the RS in addition. And I m seeing .1 RS CPO around 160k.

I know. I am super disappointed. I have spent the last 3 hours on the phone calling insurance people, but as soon as I give them the VIN for the RS, their system goes into a weird state where they can't provide a quote. An hour later a phone call comes saying they cant insure that car.
For the record, I am paying $150/month for $200,000 worth of cars right now. But somehow to insure another $200,000, the cost is $420/month in addition which is just ridiculous.

They wont let you do that here. You can suspend coverage when its not being driven but its either the entire thing or not. As in, you cant just turn off collision.

I applauded this guy five days ago for actually getting someone to go look at a car, sorry Jimmy d. Seen this before on GT-Rlife. Very knowledgeable on topic, responds to most everyone, including detractors. Probably even calls all these people regarding PPIs etc.
The GT-R guys are definitely a more skeptical group, gave the guy a real run for his money as far as calling him out on his bull****. He’s probably not done yet, gonna try to ‘save’ it. LOL
He was goading people with his C8 posts for a while before this one.
