Illuminated door sills would not matter to me. Yes it can look cool, but would not help my decision either way. Full leather is something that is important to me though. However, the only time you are probably going to notice it is if you are sitting at a stop light. Neither audio system is good as you mentioned.

I think I would be going for the CPO car. Warranty is nice to have and will allow you to drive it more when you aren't thinking about fixing things.

CMC's car has no warranty - its not sold by a PCNA dealer so the CPO on it is void day one. That shouldn't even factor into your decision.

This thread is fake news. Feel like we're getting trolled/taken for a ride by a wannabe.

You have not read all the posts. I am comparing two cars $9000 different in value. One CPO one isnt.

3 911's for less than $3000 per year? Really? You better check your coverage levels.

As far as I'm concerned all these insurance companies overcharge for coverage. More important than the premium to me is my coverage levels. You can be overpaying for garbage "full" coverage. You can have "full coverage" with garbage limits in an effort to save money. However, if there is an accident it could end up being the most expensive/costly decision you made in your life all with the eye towards saving a few shekels.

A lot of these companies hound you about saving money and their web sites guide you about how to save money in your policy selections and tempt you with policy savings but when you buy an inexpensive policy you are getting what you pay for. Garbage.

My motto is buy as much coverage as you can afford with the highest limits you can afford as to all coverages including liability, uninsured motorist, underinsured, medical coverage etc...

Haggarty and Leland West policies are collector car policies I believe. They are inexpensive because they have limits on use and mileage in many cases.

I would not shop insurance thinking "it won't happen to me". They're called "accidents" because they're not planned.

When I was a kid, there was a 'quiz' show on TV, hosted by Art Linkletter - it was called "People are Funny". Each of 3 contestants (and this show was LIVE, as many were back then), made a crank call to an unsuspecting person. The contestant who kept the person who answered the phone on the call the LONGEST....won.

I think this thread is the Internet version of that show.....😂

This guy has been 'looking' for a DEAL....for at least a year....I think we're being played....

Rennlist wins the award for most gullible forum ive ever been apart of! Probably because of the older demographic here. Been saying this was b.s for days now...

I am no expert at insurance (far from it) but i completely agree. I can cut my insurance by 80% by lowering coverage's and taking out the absolute minimum required by law. So when people say i pay $X per month for insurance or 15 minutes can save you 15% - i hear blah blah blah.. It plays to the crowd who base their purchase decisions on ignorance or a monthly payment they can afford. If you're paying $200K for a car, you should be better informed. How much do you want to protect yourself for property, uninsured, medical, liability etc. Do you have a high net worth, a family etc? Do you have an umbrella policy? Also for some reason insurance costs are very dependent on zip. I bought a car to leave in San Mateo, CA and it was far cheaper to insure vs where i live. Go figure.

This thread is kinda frustrating.
