Default Dundon Motorsports Street Headers

Okay I have to brag a little bit on Dundon Motorsports this week. Most of you know I have the Dundon Motorsports Street Headers and stock center muffler on my 991.2 GT3RS. This past weekend I met up with a friend of mine in the Smokey Mountains for a quick little ride around select mountain roads in our GT3 RSs. He has a 991.2 RS just like mine except with a painted WP hood and stock exhaust. At one point in the drive he and I traded cars. When I got in his car it was so quiet and subdued compared to the Dundon headers on my car. When driving his car it was fun but it just lacked something. I then got back in my car and bam the fun factor was full filled to 11. The system isn't overly loud inside the car but just adds that little bit the car is missing. Also it was interesting in feeling the difference of torque both cars delivered. His stock RS was nice and smooth on the delivery of power much like mine. My car had the little bit extra that made roll out of the turns in 3rd gear at the lower RPMs so much easier. You could tell mine had that extra power to make driving a more fun and enjoyable on the street. I highly recommend these to anyone with a GT3 or GT3 RS. They make the car that much better.

I had the chance to drive a 991.2 GT3 with side muffler delete pipes back-to-back to my 991.2 GT3RS with Dundon Street headers+DundonQuiet+DundonAirbox+DundonTB+DundonIntakePlenum. 3 drivers drove both cars, and we all agreed that the power difference felt in the 50-80hp depending on the driver you asked. Massive difference.

The intake mods have a little slight impact on sound, on a scale from 1 to 10 (10 the loudest), the stock intake sound would be a 2, and the Dundon intake sound would be a 2.5. I got these intake upgrades for the performance, not the sound. I had the chance to run without the intake mods for a long while, so the difference once the intake mods were applied was noticeable in the mid-range, and pretty healthy in the top end.

...and Dundon customer service quality is on a whole new higher standard, they represent what the traditional American Business used to be, and no this non-sense of outsourcing all fabrication to China and all design to India to save pennies at the expense of quality and supporting regimes go against our core values and culture.

Dundon street headers and loud muffler was the single best mod I've done to my car (Not to mention intake, plenum, etc.). Worth every penny.

It's part of the Dundon power package I did, but you can also buy it separately too: https://www.dundonmotorsports.com/co...-center-plenum

I know it adds some additional power. I can't comment on any additional sound increase since I did everything at once. All I can say is the sound is absolutely addictive now.

If you want to know more, talk to Jamie at Dundon. He's a great guy and will take care of you.

I agree. I did the whole package as well and would do it again. Extra power is noticeable. 5-6 mph faster on the straight at my track. Noise is intoxicating.

Yeah, the gas pedal is quite addicting, and you find yourself driving in a lower gear than you normally would to keep the power on tap. It has definitely transformed the car. I have the touring power package.

I agree. That is my buddy Chris with that car. I helped source the car for him and we got lucky finding the WP with the painted hood. I was definitely jealous when I found it for him as the painted hood option was not available when I specced my car to order. If it was I definitely would have optioned for it was the look I felt the car needed.

Love the Dundon street headers. My only hiccup is concern about the warranty.

P.S. I think the GR looks awesome w/o WP and/or with just the painted hood with the Arum wheels.

I have the WP with painted hood, but there are times I wish I had the exposed carbon. I go back and forth. I’m usually not a fan of exposed carbon hoods, but I think it just works on the 3RS for some reason.

I broke quarantine yesterday (perfect weather here in Atlanta) and took a nice drive. I figured with the windows up I was social distancing! I have to agree the Dundon Street headers with the loud muffler are intoxicating.... I hated to put her back in the garage....

Looks good both ways that's why you go back and forth. This doesn’t look too bad.

Agreed. Completely transforms the car (something you need to experience first hand to fully understand).

Best performance modification I've done on any car, ever.
